Which one is better for a B.Tech in CSE, JIS University or JIS College of Engineering?

JIS College of Engineering (JISCE) is the 2nd branch of the JIS group of institutions. JISCE is considered to be a better institution than JIS University (JISU), for their placement record, faculty, etc. Candidates must have 60% in PCM in their 10+2 qualifying examinations to be eligible for admission. They should also have a valid WBJEE score. I paid 4,02,000 in this college for my B.tech C.S.E Degree. In this amount includes all fees like tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges. There are no other extra hidden cost.All students have same fees there are not any reservation.But, who came with good WBJEE rank in this college and their family income is less than 1.5 lakh anually, they got a special quota where they have to pay only 70000 to 80000 in 4 years. Here, I got the SVMCM Scholarship where I got 60000 rupees per year.For this Scholarship,I have to maintain 60% in my college result. This college have a special plus point because this is under makaut and under the join venture of JIS and Techno India,where techno India sees the placement part.But the price of this degree in this college may be increase in next year.

The college fee is 120000 annually .The students who are joined through convener quota(emcet entrance exam) they get 35k scholarship for sc,st,bc students.The students who are sc and st they get full fee reimbursement.the students who get below 10k rank get the full fee reimbursement.The students who joined through the management they need to pay full fee and a donation fee .

My course was CSE with course fee of 246000 for 4 years. I used to have SVMCM scholarship of Rs. 60000 per year. And the college administration was really helpful regarding the scholarship for submission. There was a caution fee of 5000 to be deposited at the time of registration which can be withdrawn after the course is completed. And before exams a fee of 1200 to be paid to the university. West bengal student loan scheme is there. And other scholarships are also available.

The year wise payment depends, like in 2nd sem, it's 76075,but in 3rd sem, like it's 73075,in this way, but above 70000 per sem. Also scholarship is available (SVMCM), where we got per year 60000 and in total 240000.They also take 10000 as a caution fees.

A full stack college review

So in the first sem I paid 80000 but after that I paid 42k-48k every semester I don't remember the exact fee but overall I'm gonna pay 4lakh during this 4 years of time it include everything like caution fee and every stuff,this 4 lakh is the final price but yehh I had to pay 1200 rs exam fee before every sem exam so that was extra money I had to pay.i'm not from West Bengal so I didn't get any scholarship but all the other friend of mine who is from WB applied for scholarship and they had to pay alot less amount than mine ,they never revealed it to me nd I was also not interested but yeh I will highly recommend you to apply for scholarship provided by the west bengal government. I also asked to my juniors about the current fee and they told me that fee has increased alot,I enrolled in 2021 so u can expect 5lakh for the 4year.

Low fee with low attendance policy college in kolkata

In 2021, the fee was about 4.2 Lakh in total and in every semester you have to pay the exam registration fee which is 1200 at the makaut portal. The fee has increased as the college has become autonomous and is getting better. If you apply through the TWS quota the fees are much less, I don't know the exact amount but properly every semester you have to pay 4000-9000 instead of 45000 to 50000. Many scholarships is available such as the Swami Vivekananda scholarship in which you will get 60000 each semester or there is an Oasis scholarship for SC, ST students.

Fees structure is affordable compared to the other private colleges

I am a batch of 2021-25 and my fees structure was altogether 400000 rupees first semester it was 85000 and rest seven semesters were balanced accordingly. Every semester before the exams we have to pay 1200 rupees for exam form in the official MAKAUT WEBSITE. The fees might have increased a little bit for the upcoming batches as the college was renovating and was about to be autonomous for better placements in the future. Fees might decrease a little bit if you have any reservations or fall under the EWS catered. The college also accepts various scholarships and cooperates with it.
