JIS University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 3rd year you're eligible for campus placements I am not in the 3rd year have no idea about placement Highest it can go above 15-20 lakhs Lowest is 3.5lpa The percentage of students getting placement is not high as many are going with further studies it's approximately 60-65% My plans are also for further studies... Now the 4 years graduation course have not been graduated so we don't know about much! It can told after 2 more years

Course primarily focus on theory with very some practical experience i wish they could grant a summer internship but they didn't gave it person have to apply off campus internship.From my opinion they need to provide internships more often or atleast 1 includes in course

The average package is INR 4.10 lakh and the highest package is INR 23.50 lakh. Companies that are offered are nestle, wipro, cipla limited, EclinicalWorks, Binfosol private limited, SynBiogenesis, Apollo pharmacy, zensar etc

The course ciricullum is very well and all the subject needed for the course are taught and the practical are also conducted very properly by the college and the teaching process is also very good the preachers are very supportive and even tell us if anything extra is necessary the curriculum is very well related to the subject course

I liked the study of the earth, thus I chose the subject of geology. And in today's world where everyone is going for engineering or medical or MBA, wanted to pursue a different stream with a good scope. The faculties were quite good and the faculty-student ratio was awesome it was almost 1:1 as the department was new and students were fewer. But the faculty and studies, etc were quite good. The faculties were well qualified and their teaching and everything was quite good. The term exams and all the exams were timely taken and the marking system was moderate to good.

There are few companies that have visited like Accenture for customer support, byjus, powell laboratories. I plan to do my master's in biotechnology after getting the degree. There are very few students who take up job after bsc.

Placements here are good, I am currently pursuing my bachelors so i have little idea about placements but i know for both masters and bachelors we have placements. Many companies like -cipla, nestle, Flipkart, R&D companies come to our uni for the placement. After i got the degree i will go for masters but i know many of my friends will go for companies from our uni

Placement occurs on the basis of your performance in the exams taken by the company and also the selection is done by GD and sometimes open to all campaign drives are observed. Above 80% of people got a place and the average is 4 to 6 LPA but in the time of Covid placement drive company decrease their package. I am going for masters after getting the result.

Geology has been my fascination for a long time because of such a huge scope along with an adventurous life as a bonus due to field work and many more. Opting for JIS University was because of its amazing environment just suitable for studies, along with plenty of activities for students for innovation and also for the extravagant field work of our department along with GSI.

All over good to learn this college. I am not telling that the best college but must say one of the best college to learn. If any students want to learn alwys welcome in JIS University. Must say. this is a ragging free campus and hostel also.
