pes it has name and tier 2 college at this time. igot addmission from kcet . once you got opportunity like this college . highly reputed college in karnataka.
through kcet i have applied for college live R.v college, m.s ramiah and all. didnt get admission coz cutt off their college.
admission process in my college was simple . no hectic process . got admission letter from kcet and applied.

ADMISSION PROCESS THROUGH KCET WAS PRETTY SIMPLE- APPLY , FILL THE FORM, TAKE THE EXAM, WAIT FOR RESULT, FILL THE FORM BASED ON RANK THAT YOU REQUIRED COLLEGE AND COURSE, PAY THE FEE TO KCET, REPORT TO COLLEGE AND DONE.
COLLEGE EXAM WAS KCET, COMEDK NAD MANAGMENT.

- It is a beautiful campus with all the sports facilities.
- The teacher are professionally trained and are phds and are coming employees of isro.
- The ratio is around 1:2 and the blend in crowd is pretty good. Everyone is ready to socialise and the seniors are pretty great
Dislikes
- Pes is pretty strict in terms of exams and assignment.
- The classroom are pretty old and the washroom too.
- I feel like pes should start having more cultural fest and grow on that

I had gotten into vit SRM lpu mit manipal bmsit ect collages at 10 k cet rank. But then i wanted to go to pes cauz it's way better than all those collages here the placement is also good and the peer group is amazing will all good PPL. I almost got in all collages I applied for but vit i rejected cauz to many PPL, lpu also same and plament was bad mit because it's not that good now

- The lab facilites and the constant upgrade in the syllabus to be upto date with the current market trend is one of the best part of the college. The faculties are determined to teach and they are very encouraging and well prepared before each class.
- The hackathons and competitions. The clubs in the college constantly almost every 14 days once conduct regular hackathons and competitions for all the students of the college which improve the overall skills of the students.
- The clubs in the college are too good. There are more than 20+ clubs and all are active and the students actively take part in the clubs. The Mrd student centre as all the facilites for sports and gym and its the best hangout spot of the college.
Dislikes
- The fest and college life is little off compared to other colleges in the city. There is no much of cultural events happening in the college. We just two major fests one each semester and few small events.
- There is no night canteen for hostel students and there is no campus life as such as it is situated in one of the most happeneing cities of the country.
- The curicullum is strict and there is a strict attendance policy. There are lot of assignments and exams almost every month and the exams are pretty tough compared to other universities and in one way better for the growth of the student.
Admission:
I applied for NITS, IITs, and Bits. I couldn't clear JEE advanced. I cleared mains and Bits, but I didnt get desired NITs and desired Bits and branches.I chose this college rather than other nits because of the Bangalore exposure you get. I had jee percentile of 97. I chose this college because of the exposure it provides and the curriculum and constantly improving placement and internship opportunities. I wasn't able to clear other exams due to personal health reasons. There are 5 types of admissions. Pessat- The rank should be below 5k to get any branch in the college preferably below 2.5k for cse, but this mode is not there from 2025. Jee mains- above 97% percentile. Kcet - below 5k for the general category, below 12k for obc, and below 30k for sc st. The admission experience is hassle-free and Pessat counselling takes place offline.

- The mrd block its just amazing you can find all the games there.
- The gym. Its a high class gym and its just 3000 per year much better than cult in my opinion
- Free parking in ece campus unlike rr campus.
Dislikes
- They have installed some rods. Sometimes it gives jail vibes
- Food, the cafeteria and the mess food needs to be improved
Admission:
The admission process was very easy you can do it online while seating on a sofa or u can visit the campus and physically be present during admission process.
For ece you need to have a rank of atleast under 2000 for cse you need to get under 1000.

- Good security is provided .there is no ragging
- Teachers are well experienced and are ready to help students regularly
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not upto the mark.frequent illness is caused due to food
- The class timings are changed frequently which makes it difficult for students
- Internals weightage is less .it will be nice if they increase
Admission:
65 percent in mpc in 12th boards is mandatory for admission.pessat is the entrance exam I took .it's University own entrance test.the cut off for cse is 1900 rank.the exam is conducted every year .the difficulty level is medium

- Campus is huge compared other colleges in Bengaluru.
- Lecturers are good, well qualified and most of them know what they are doing.
- Hackathons are conducted frequently so that's a good thing for CSE.
Dislikes
- College's location. It is located in Ecity.
- College can be a bit hectic at times, but manageable.
- Number of students are very high, sp too much crowd.
Admission:
Admission process was quite easy.
I entered through KCET quota, so most of the work has been done before hand.
The year I joined the cutoff for ECE branch was 13419. For GM.
The admission process was fine and I didn't find any problem in that.

First, you need to write CET exam after that you need to enter on PESU academy.com in which we can enter into our courses and they will be in telephonic interview and you will get into waiting list if the files and everything is alright, you will easily get into the college

- I am very lucky to join this college because i have got such a good friends
- College was really good in academics which helps in focus
- Faculties was really good and friendly and enjoyed a lot
Dislikes
- Placements was really very bad and they should focus on that
- There's was no trip or vaccay facilities
- There was good infrastructure but we can't use everything there was a restrictions
Admission:
Based on cutt off, cut off should be 85%in puc, to get application forms we need to go to college and application fee is 200,ther is no entrance exam , and we need to pay fees on time with DD not cash

Admission:
the entrance exam PESSAT is conducted only once and was on online mode. The difficulty level was moderate and covered the basics of 11 and 12. After the announcement of the results, a ranking card was issued based on which we were called for offline counselling. The seats were given rank wise among both Ring Road campus and Electronic city campus.The whole admission process was small but congested as there were almost 1500 students at a time for admission which caused a lot of delays in the admission process.

Why is the 2nd round KCET cutoff of PES University Electronic City Campus CSE lower than even Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering CSE?

This must be because of location and the accessibility to the Electronic City as the area is heavily crowded due to traffic.
Moreover, the intake in CSE at PES University EC Campus is 480, while it is 180 in DSCE. It is bad luck for those who did not make an informed choice as they might face repercussions in 2023.
Furthermore, comparing PES with Dayanand, which lies in the heart of South Bangalore and it is a favorite place. With easy access and a peaceful environment, Dayanand Sagar is more preferred among students.
