Placements are fine but college life is bad.

I had an interest for this branch from my childhood itself. The curriculum here is well updated and trains you very according to industry standards. As per future academic pursuits, I didn't see much going on but still some students have become successful in joining some of the best colleges in the world. Syllabus can be a bit easy I guess but it's fine even now. There are 2 ISAs(Internals) of 40 marks each and an ESA. Exams I feel like are above averag to difficult kind of difficulty.

As per my knowledge not all students get internship from the college, so it's better to try outside for internship. The college also provides its own internships during summer break. That's what I know about intership but it's better not to rely on college for internship.

As per my knowledge the placement is quite fine in this college. Many companies have visited the college for placement for more information you can check the reddit page of the college. I plan on doing a job after my college.

I joined through KCET so fees actually depends of the government. As per lab fees and other compulsory fees it's 10000 rs. Per year. College also provides scholarship but for KCET students they need to pay extra 10000 rs. inorder to be eligible for the scholarship. There are two scholarships available to students CNR and MRD, which provides 40% and 50% fee waiver.

There is only one annual festival in this college. It's called Maaya. It's held in November month I guess. The library is quite good a. A vast range books are kept. Each class has a screen ( not a projector) and lecturers make use of it while teaching. Sports is also fine there is a cricket ground in front of the college building . There a few clubs in the college, I don't have much idea about them.

There are two hostels, one is in the campus and one outside. The outside campus hostel is for first years, then they have to move to the Incampus hostel. The first year hostel is a four sharing one and the in-campus hostel is three sharing. Hostel registration is quite annoying I can say. I stay in the hostel but there are many PGs available near the college.

Admission process was quite easy. I entered through KCET quota, so most of the work has been done before hand. The year I joined the cutoff for ECE branch was 13419. For GM. The admission process was fine and I didn't find any problem in that.

The faculty-to-student ratio is really good, there are many well qualified faculties. Each faculty has their own way of teaching, and are a bit strict. Mentorship is also good. Most of the faculty members will be always ready to solve students doubts, queries etc.
