• Library: The Library has a seating capacity for 225 people and has more than 40000 volumes with more than 3863 titles, 50 print journals/Magazines, more than 20,000 eBooks, and provides access to more than 6800 international e-journals, newspapers, and magazines, which are updated regularly.
• Transportation: SGBIT has a fleet of 8 buses, with having seating capacity of 24 for one bus and 42 for the remaining five buses. The buses cover the entire Belgaum city and the suburban areas. The areas covered by the buses are Indal, Hanuman Nagar, Sahyadri Nagar, Ganeshpur, Vijaynagar, Pipeline road, Sadashiv Nagar, Rail Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Shivabasava Nagar, Mahantesh Nagar, Shrinagar, Ramthirtha Nagar, Shahpur, Vadagaon, Hindwadi, RC Nagar, CBT, and many more prominent areas.

SG Balekundri Institute of Technology offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The Hostel administration provides for each occupant one bed, a reading table, a chair, an almirah, a fan, a tube light (or compact fluorescent lamp), internet connectivity point once for an academic session at the time of allotment.
