Marketing and Finance specific subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. This curriculum prepares you for real-world through practical learnings, industry integrations, field visits and entrepreneurial support. Areas of improvement can be in course curriculum by including more recent case studies to understand current industry and focus should be increased on simulations. Mid sem and end sem exams are being conducted every trimester. 1.5 month gap is available in between every exam. Its not so difficult to go along with these exams.

The PGDM course eqips one with the nuances of the Business/ Corporate world. It helps develop an acumen for Business Administration. Currently persuing it has helped me leaps and bounds in fulfilling my passion to become a Manager, giving me ample material and practice with peers to work on it. The Internship program is equally helpful which gives hands-on for a period of 2 months. Scope of betterment - Opportunites in different companies of choice, not affected by the recessionary world.

The course curriculum is very well set and the institute is mentored by IIM Bangalore, the PGP course is a 2 year course, the 1st year is common for all and in the 2nd year you are free to choose your subjects, the courses are mostly based on case studies from Harvard, etc, the courses we study and the cases that are studied are mostly global some cases in Indian Context would benefit a lot, 2 exams are conducted during a 3 month term (mid term and end term) which are also case based for most of the subjects.

IIM Visakhapatnam follow the course curriculum of IIM Bangalore. As IIM Bangalore is mentor of IIMV. In IIMV all the case studies we follow are of Harward Business Review. We have faculty to student ratio of 1/71.

The curriculum of IIM Vizag is designed in such a manner that it provides you with knowledge related to industrial aspects and also with overall exposure to the corporate world. Subjects like managerial accounting help you understand the basics of the finance world and then subjects like managerial marketing and operations management give you an idea about those respective domains. I was unaware of the finance world since I was from an engineering background, so these subjects helped me to gain knowledge. Apart from this, many generic subjects give you a generic and wholesome knowledge about all the aspects of Management, in the first year of an MBA, and based on your preference you can choose your electives as majors and minors in the domain you want to pursue your career. The exam pattern consists of quizzes, midterms, and endterms, each having weightage along with graded assignments and projects. With discussions on the business scenario, the exams are also conducted on similar line

The course curriculum is just like other B schools. I choose IIM V for my MBA. The student-faculty ratio is 9:1. All the faculty are well qualified. They are PhD degree holders and some among them are having work experience too.

I want to transition from a Digital Marketer to a Brand Manager and handle the overall marketing activities of a brand and help scale it. In order to do that I have to gain knowledge of consumer behaviour, brand management, traditional marketing methods, product pricing and more. Thus MBA was the right fit for me. There are about 90 students in a class who are taught by a teacher Most of the faculties are PHDs from reputed institutes such as IITs and other IIMs The term exams are conducted in a timely and are not too difficult to pass if one does regular self-study and preparation for it.
