IIM Visakhapatnam extends EPGDPM 2026 application date; written test and interview rescheduled with updated admission timeline.

IIM Visakhapatnam has extended the EPGDPM Admission 2026 registration deadline to February 5, 2026, giving applicants more time to apply. The institute has also revised the selection schedule, with the online written test set for February 14 and the personal interview on February 21, 2026.
The programme is designed for working professionals from defence and allied sectors. Eligible candidates must complete the online application process within the updated timeline to be considered for admission.

IIM Visakhapatnam has released the revised admission schedule after extending the registration deadline. Candidates must complete each step within the given timeline to avoid disqualification.

Eligibility Criteria
The programme is mainly meant for professionals working in the defence production and allied sectors. Applicants must meet all of the following:
- Full-time employment in DDP (Ministry of Defence), DPSUs, or private defence enterprises
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Minimum five years of full-time executive/officer-level experience after graduation
- At least 15 years of service remaining (only for Government/PSU employees)
After completing the one-year course, participants can also opt for an online Advanced Executive PG Diploma (AEPGDM) upgrade pathway offered by IIMV.
The selection process will be conducted completely online. First, applicants will be shortlisted based on eligibility. Shortlisted candidates will then appear for an online proctored aptitude test covering VARC, DILR, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The test will last 75 minutes, include 60 questions, and carry no negative marking.
All test-takers will also attend an online personal interview with an expert panel. Additionally, candidates must submit a Statement of Purpose (maximum 250 words) explaining their interest and expected benefits from the programme.
Interested candidates must submit the online application form through the official website. Both sponsored and self-financing applicants are eligible to apply.
During registration, applicants need to upload required details and submit their Statement of Purpose. It is advised to apply early to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Selected candidates will receive admission offers on February 27, 2026. After acceptance, they must complete registration and programme inauguration on May 16, 2026. Further details about orientation, preparatory sessions, and Term-1 classes will be announced later by the institute.
