The university has clearly stated that no request for change in exam date or session will be accepted in cases where courses fall under the same group, belong to a backlog from different years, or are from different programmes.
Some programmes will have exams in objective (MCQ/OMR) format. These include BDP/BTS/BCA/BSW courses such as BSHF101 and FST01, CLIS courses including BLI011, BLII012, BLII013, BLII014, CBS/DVAPFV/DDT/DMT/DWM course PCO1, CBCS-based UG courses BEVAE181 and BSSS183, and DECE courses DECE01, DECE02, DECE03. Students enrolled in these courses should prepare accordingly for the objective-type pattern.
For courses under the CBCS and FYUP system, IGNOU has divided subjects into specific groups. Exams of courses within the same group will be conducted on the same date and time, and the IGNOU University will not entertain any request for changing the exam schedule in such cases. Students must carefully check their course codes and allotted exam dates to avoid confusion.
Going forward, students should verify their exam schedule properly, ensure that assignment submission is complete, and wait for the official announcement of the exam form submission dates and fees. It is also advised to keep a copy of the date sheet for reference.

Learners who have already passed a course but wish to improve their division must apply through offline mode within six months of marksheet printing, as per university rules.
Since the schedule is tentative, students should regularly check the official IGNOU website for updates regarding the exam form, hall ticket release, or any changes in the timetable. Once the exam form dates are announced, they must complete the process within the deadline to avoid paying late fees. So, candidates are advised to check the official website and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
