MY LIFE AT NIFT

Likes

Faculty as they have great relation with students.
environment at Nift is very different as its an fashion college you never gets board there's always something to do ad involve yourself into.
Opportunities- If you are capable enough then you are limitless.

Dislikes

Placement- Should work upon placement as there's not very good placement and if it is then in only top 3-4 campuses
After 3-4 top colleges your study also gets hampered due to location compared to the metrocity.

Placement Experience:

from the second last semester, students start getting placed. landmark, Nike, puma, Adidas, and almost 70% placement, the highest package is 10lac. and the average is 4-5lac. 70% of students are being placed. Job in the fashion industry.

The insiders of NIFT delhi

Likes

The thing i liked about my college was my friends. I made so many good friends in last two sem that i cant even tell
Also i liked the food stalls that are just outside the college
The infrastructure is good and the most liked thing of mine would be gulmohar park and its just at the front gate and its very peaceful.

Dislikes

The campus food from the canteen is the worst expect few things.
The infrastructure is good no doubt but the campus is very small, no space for any sports
The stationary we have to buy is just soo expensive more tha half of pur allowance go in that only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to opt for something related to marketing side or more like something that requires digital work. The faculty:student ratio is 1:40 in my batch. My faculty is very knowledgeable. I have a good experience in teaching (not all but mostly) with them. The term exams are timely scheduled and it is not easy to pass a exam but it is not also very difficult. If you work consistently throughput the semester you would score a good grade in the end.

The brief overview of NIFT

Likes

I liked the practical approach of the course and the industry visits
The subject of fashion management and technology
The open-minded perspective of people towards self expression

Dislikes

Attendance shortage even after missing few sessions because because there are not many sessions in 1 subject
Very expensive stationery and the course is already very expensive
Very less budget for fests and events and we have to contribute at the end of the day

Placement Experience:

4th year is actually when the placements start. NIFT makes sure you get a job but doesn't make sure that it is a good one. I think the average package for this course is somewhere around 6-9lpa and the highest is not more than 15.

Truth Of NIFT

Likes

Great name in the fashion sector in India and it’s very helpful
The alumni of our college is very goof and it makes us confident
The campus is beautiful and well equipped

Dislikes

The placements are not up to the mark.
There is no mess facility in hostel people often suffer

Placement Experience:

Students in the 7th semester are qualified for placement. Some major companies come to our college but the offer is not very high. Not many of the students get into campus placement. The highest might be around 11 LPA and the lowest around 2-3 LPA. I plan on my masters after this

The placements are decent. Students can avail of placements opportunities as they are in their final year, and almost every student gets placed in the college. I would go for the post-graduation course after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement opportunity. Companies from all over the nation visit the campus, as well as faculty, and also help the students to get jobs. In the 3rd year, we are given internships. Studying at NIFT in itself is a great opportunity for you to get internships very easily.

Placement Experience:

Massive companies visit the campus for placement and the students who have completed their 4 years are eligible for placement. Students need to have a very good cgpa for grabbing the opportunity. They must be students from 8 cgpa and above. most of the students tend to start their own label after finishing their 4-year course at nift and some students fly abroad for their master program.
