Eligibility Criteria

Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi/Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/ Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB)

Admission Guidelines

The selection of Bachelor of Fashion Technology courses will be purely entrance-based.
Candidates are required to score the valid score in NIFT Delhi Entrance Examination conducted by the authorities at NIFT Delhi.
The selection process follows counseling sessions as well.
Candidates who perform well in Personal Interviews are however preferred.

The candidates must have qualified in 12th level examinations by any of recognized board i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board of Secondary Education New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any equivalent to 10+2 level exam from any public school/board/university exam in India or foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
3 or 4 years Diploma from any recognized board/university by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
The lower age limit is 23 years as per 31st October of the admission year.

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is security deposit you have to pay when you take admission in the college. Which is a12k or 15k. Which you ll be getting back after your convocation. And the fees is sem wise. Its is the same for a batch irrspective if the departments. And the fee increases by 10% (not really sure) every year. The fee is different for every sem. Approximately 1.5 lakh per sem or 3 lakh per year (approximately). This fee included all facilities provided by the college. That is developemnt fee, lab fee, library and everything. There is various scholarship that you can apply. That provides almost 100% of the fee if eligible. There is scholarships availble for all categories. But there is various conditions for it. Like attendence. Marks. Your family background. Their is national scholarships, state wise ones. You can basically apply for anything. But only get one scholarship. Some of it is sarthak, egrantz etc., The college gives medical allowance for students if they are injured within the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yearly tuition fee for general category is around 4 lakhs and for NRI/NRI sponsor is around 10 lakhs. On top of that there's a refundable security deposit of around 15 thousand. For sc/st there are schemes and most part of their fees is waved off.

Honest review after experiencing my life alone in Bangalore nift

Fees and Financial Aid:

Okay , so the fees doesn't increase or decrease and the fee is paid sem wise (every 6months) so it's almost 2,00,000 per sem and these include the tuition fees n everything , if you opted for hostel than you have to register for that seperately and I'm not sure how exactly is hostel fees since it varies. And people in NRI reservation there fees varies a lot and have to pay much more than us ( these information will be provided in nift page ) . Concerned about the scholarship? Than there is a schemes and more since it's a government college also has scholarship for people other than general category.

The feee is too high but there is some scholarships and schemes to assist you though out the course . Udan scholarship NSP scholarship Egrands scholarship they will provide more than 90% of your feeee through that you can pay the fee

My gen z college life

Likes

I like the vast curriculum here because if this we get to study not only design and fashion but it also includes modelling, gardening, dance zumba, shoots and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee is relatively high if u compare to other national government colleges. It's around one lakh and thirty five or forty five pwr semester. Yes they do provide scholarship facility but that can only be availed by the students who's parents annual income is less than four lakhs. This course is definitely not affordable for people who are not rich enough.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee is quite high as it's a government college but it provides multiple scholarship chances to the students depending on the income of the student's family. NIFT has a 10% fee hike every year which is quite high.

The cost for the study is a bit high which is 3 lakh per year but u can always apply for a scholarship which is especially for the upliftment of the financially weaker students of nift. You need to have certain paper requirements to get the scholarship then you will have an interview round with the faculty of the college. There is a Sarthak scholarship scheme for students whose family income is less than 4 lakhs and they can apply for it. The cost of materials per year varies from 10000 to 80000 the materials are quite expensive and the fees per semester are approximately 1.5 lakhs.

Life of a design student

Fees and Financial Aid:

NIFT is expensive considering it's a government college. But studying design is probably even more expensive if you go to private colleges. Apart from that, you'll have to spend a lot on stationary throughout the course. NIFT provides different scholarship schemes. You can apply for it if you are eligible and you can get even up to 100% scholarship for the particular year that you applied for.

Fees and Financial Aid:

-The fees hike was okay but the cost of the study was a little high as we use to have mostly practical exams which are related to fashion. -Financial Assistance- "SARTHAK " NIFT Financial Assistance. As I graduated last year, due to covid we were not provided with the placements.
