NIFT Patna Admission 2025
NIFT Patna offers admission to two courses at the undergraduate level, namely, B.Des and B.F.Tech, and to MFM at the postgraduate level. Admission to NIFT Patna for both UG and PG courses is offered through the NIFT Entrance Exam. NIFTEE is a national-level Computer-Based Test (CBT) that will be conducted in different cities across the country for admission to different NIFT campuses. NIFTEE consists of a General Ability Test (GAT) for all the UG and PG Programs, along with an additional Creative Ability Test (CAT) for B.Des. Based on the scores in the entrance exam, the candidates will be shortlisted for a Situation Test for B.Des and a Personal Interview for MFM. The final selection for NIFT Patna Admission will be based on the aggregate of merit scored by the candidates in both stages.
Once the final results are announced, candidates who have qualified and obtained a merit rank, ie, Common Merit Rank (CMR), in the NIFT Entrance Exam will have to register for NIFT Counselling. The seat allocation for admission to various programs at NIFT Patna will be done through the centralized NIFT Counselling only. Candidates who will be allocated a seat will have to accept and confirm by paying the admission fee accordingly.

The following facilities are provided at the NIFT Patna Campus:
- Hostel: NIFT Patna offers semi-furnished accommodation for female students only. Mess services are available to all hostellers. Other facilities at NIFT Patna Hostel include RO Water Purifiers and coolers, a Washing Machine, a Refrigerator, a Gym, 2 huge Common Rooms, Indoor/ Outdoor sports facilities on the campus like Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, etc.
- Canteen: The campus is housed with a cafeteria that provides fresh, hygienic, and healthy food at reasonable rates. The cafeteria is Wi-Fi enabled, allowing the students to utilize their free time to the fullest.
- Healthcare: Medical aid is available on campus. A doctor and nurse are available to attend to the general medical concerns of the students. A psychologist and an on-campus Counsellor are also available on Campus to counsel students.
- Resource Centre: This center caters to the information needs of the students, faculty, and staff. It is the information center for the academic activities of the NIFT Patna Centre. It manages activities related to the regular acquisition, processing of information, and dissemination of information to its users.
- Incubation Cell: The cell aims at promoting Fashion, Lifestyle, and related businesses by providing them with mentoring support. In order to support and enable the start-ups, NIFT Patna has identified an enclosed area of 4000 sq ft on its campus. This enclosed space is to be developed as a co-working space for start-ups, which would receive incubation from NIFT Patna.
- Accessory Design Lab is equipped with a Lathe machine and various other cutting, drilling, and welding machines.
- Other equipment facilities include 3D Printer, Photography Studio, Mac Lab, Garment Construction Lab, Pattern making Lab, Textile Design Studio, Textile Testing Lab, Digital Studios and IT Labs, and Weaving Studio.
