NIFT Opens Applications for PhD Program 2025; Apply by February 28

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced admissions for its PhD program for the 2025 academic year. Candidates can submit their registration forms until February 28, 2025, and the admit card will be released in March 2025. The entrance exam is scheduled for April 2025, with the declaration of the online entrance examination results in May 2025. The Research Proposal, Presentation, and Interview will take place in June 2025, and the final result will be announced in July 2025 for aspiring researchers in the fields of design, management, and technology.

NIFT Eligibility Criteria For PhD Admissions 2025

A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 6.0 on a 10-point scale (5.5 for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent as determined by the institute wherever letter grades are awarded or 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) where marks are awarded in the Post-Graduation degree.

• Class X original mark sheet
• Class XII original Marksheet
• Bachelor's Degree mark sheet and certificate(if applicable)
• Work experience certificate (if applicable)

Admit cards, results, and seat allocation schedules will be available on the NIFT website only and no separate communication will be sent by post. Candidates are to check the website regularly for updates. www.nift.ac.in.
