Hostels in shillong's campus are not good specifically the nongthmmai one.washrooms are very far from the room there geysers are not working properly. Food quality can improve alot and also the nongthmmai hostel is very far From the college so it takes more than 1h to just reach the campus.

The total fees structure of hostel per year is 1,08,000 /- . It is a tein sharing room . U get a fan , storage unit , ved matress and a table to study. Washroom are neat and clean . And there is a daily service of room cleaning in the hostel.

The hostel facility provided by the college is really good and we are provided with AC rooms. The menu is always consisting on 2 vegetables 1 daal rice a sweet and dahi and regional food at some decided days of the week

The old hostels, where I live, are of horrible quality. The walls are literally crumbling, and they are not maintained well. The New hostels tho, are really well made. There are options for single rooms, as well as double and triple shairng rooms, although the single rooms and double sharing rooms are limited. Each room has a bed, study table, and cupboard. Every room also has an air conditioner, and can easily take care of the Rajasthan heat. the new hostels also have mirrors, but for the old ones, we had to buy our own mirrors, and then the college provides a guy to fix to the mirror up. Also, there are approx 5 plug points in the room. There's also a washing machine on every floor, and every hostel has a common room, which has a fridge, microwave and iron. The microwave is horribly dirty, and is literally never cleaned. Also, there are plenty of places in the hostel, so almost everyone on campus prefers to stay in the hostel, with very few people choosing to live outside the campus. The mess food is below average. The food is subpar, and often leads to some or the other disease. Several complaints have been made, but there's absolutely no action that was taken. The registration process for the hostel happened during the college registration itself. The fees was submitted at the same time, and during the orientation, we had to just fill up a form and show the receipt and we were allotted the room. But the hostel warden and faculty in charge are very negligent, and if you're facing a problem, they won't really care or do anything. They even go upto the extent of ignoring the parents' calls and emails, so that's a huge negative to consider.

The hostel room are very beautiful having big windows in there so you can see the mountain views very clearly.there are ventilated heaters and ac facilities. Tables and almirah and beds all are available .there are triple sharing ,twin sharing and single rooms available . The quality of food was not good .the hostel is quite affordable the hostel fee was 45000 for triple sharing,52000 for twin sharing and 60000 for single room

The hostel facility are good there are two persons in one room ac room and non AC rooms also available each room has 2 beds 2 fan study table for each and plug points chairs and backside there is an balkani . The food quality was nice and there is more variety of menu available registration for the hostel is simple on the day of physical verification we have to submit the annexure forms and payment details to book the rooms

There are 3 hostels, 4th one under construction right now. Two sharing bedroom with table, chair, bed, cupboard. Washroom space with 3 sinks, 2 toilets, 2 shower rooms allocated to 8 students. Free wifi and water filter for each hostel. Attendance is taken at night Meal quality is good ESPECIALLY WHEN NEW STUDENTS ARE COMING

I didn't choose the college's hostel as their was no message plus the accomodation was very high, so I decided to live in a nearby pg. In my pg room, we are provided with a bed, almirah and table chair set. It has been 3 years till now but the menu here is as it is not changement at all plus sometimes the quality of food is very disappointing. In registration process I was asked to fill a form with all my details and a security deposit of 10000 which is my one month rent. To be honest, the price is high according to services we get plus the locality is not that great .

Hostel is nice for a fresher to join they only provide hostel facilities to 160-200 girls theres only girls hostel firstly the preferences are given to fresher after then its first come first serve service and then lottery is conducted to offer a room to a second year candidate and from thirs year there is no hostel facility for girls too hostel is nice facilities are very good but not food especially for people who are undergoing any sort of treatment would not suggesr to live in hostel food is really not good youll have to arrange all by yourself being in kolkata if i woikd have rented the room or pg ut would have been near the metropolitan area where the college is ita quite near and cheaper for students as well

Room is small but there are 4 hostels now. One is being constructed. Mess facilities are also the best food you will have they have a variety of the menus every week or month. You have to go there and then register for the hostel and mess now online application
