Some reasons why you can consider IIFT over MDI are: Finance: IIFT is one of the few institutes in which most of the students go for finance as a major. Almost 50% of the batch are Finance majors. The campus is visited by Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Axis Bank which recruit in large numbers, to name a few. Batch size: The small batch size at IIFT Delhi makes it a more probable choice than MDI Gurgaon. Comparing the placement reports one may infer that the statistics are almost similar except for IIFT having a slight advantage due to its stronger alumni base. Alumni base: For the last 59 years, IIFT Delhi has established a far richer and more established alumni network than MDI Gurgaon in comparison. Accreditation: IIFT is under the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India which also audits its placement reports. Entrepreneurship: As with other B-schools, IIFT promotes entrepreneurship among its students by teaching them about trades in addition to the standard course curriculum. Many people I know chose IIFT over MDI Gurgaon and many did the opposite as well, after doing healthy research and a comparison of the two.

International Institute of Fashion Technology Eligibility

Full-Time Diploma /Certificate Courses:- Candidate must have completed 16 years of age and passed (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a Board, or appearing.
Part-Time Certificate Courses:- Candidate must have completed 21 years of age and should possess a Degree besides having relevant experience in the Garment / Textile Industry. Or Candidate with 10+2 qualification and relevant experience in the industry.
Full-Time P.G. Diploma Courses:- Candidate must have a Degree in any discipline from university & relevant experience in the garment industry.
Six- Month CAD Diploma Courses:- Candidate must have completed Graduation or must have a Diploma in the relevant course or working experience in related Industry.

International Institute of Fashion Technology Fee Structure

There are three ways to pay course fees. One can opt for any of the following

Option 1: If the candidate pays INR 2,60,000 all at once he/she will be given a special discount from the Institute of INR 40,000.
Option 2: Candidate can pay INR 45,000 at the time of IIFT Admission per year OR can pay INR 45,000 after 3-3 months of the admission for 2 times per year.
Option 3: Pay INR 1,00,000 at the time of IIFT Admission every year OR Pay INR 40,000 after every 4 months every year (Saving INR 20,000).

International Institute of Fashion Technology New Delhi campus conducts an online and offline application process. Students should read the college prospectus carefully before applying.

Application Procedure

The students willing to get admission in this college should obtain the forms from its official website.
The prospectus along with the application form is also available at the college campus at the charge of INR 450.
Students outside of Delhi can get the prospectus and form for INR 300.

Firstly your undergraduate degree is completely irrelevant to the MBA degree you intend to pursue, as the two are poles apart. So, the choice of college will depend on the specialization you want to pursue in management.

Secondly, both colleges are regarded as excellent Tier 1 colleges in India and generally among the top 20 B-schools in India. Having said that, the only thing that separates them is the course they offer and what you want to choose and pursue.

In addition to having two campuses, IIFT offers a specialized international business degree that is not provided by other top-tier business schools.
