Remarks

I gave NIFT entrance exam. I scored 669 ranks (AIR). To apply for this course you need to have a minimum of 50% in your 12th class. Nift entrance form comes out on nift official site. The form fee is 1500 at my time.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are well structured. I chose fashion communication because I have an interest in graphics as well as fashion. The faculty is well trained as the best in the country. There are 2 semesters in a year. And in each semester, in the end, we have a jury as well as a mid-sem exam and end sem exam.

Internships Opportunities

You can look for internships at many places that provide salaries, certificates as well as letters of recommendation. In my course, we are given a graphics designing internship and the post can any from a junior graphic designer to the head.

Placement Experience

There is a good placement opportunity. Companies from all over the nation visit the campus, as well as faculty, and also help the students to get jobs. In the 3rd year, we are given internships. Studying at NIFT in itself is a great opportunity for you to get internships very easily.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure is 125250 per semester (approx). Nift provides scholarships depending on the family income property etc i.e sarthak. If the family income is below 1 lakhs NIFT provides a 100% scholarship. If it's below 2 lakhs it provides 75% scholarship and if below 3 lakhs it provides 50% scholarship.

Campus Life

There are many events in NIFT from the annual fest to Halloween day to Bollywood night everything. The Library is well maintained. There are many clubs that are really beneficial for an individual's growth.

The brief overview of NIFT

Placement Experience:

4th year is actually when the placements start. NIFT makes sure you get a job but doesn't make sure that it is a good one. I think the average package for this course is somewhere around 6-9lpa and the highest is not more than 15.

Pros - big well maintained campus, alumni network, industry reputation, Cons- large intake of students, faculty, fees, slightly overrated If you are delhiite than 85% seats are reserved for you and this college is worth going for but if you are an outside Delhi candidate than Dtu is not worth the efforts that you have put in

The best part about this college is the events and the facilities they provide. We never get bored on the campus as it has a very cheerful, fresh and green environment one would love to stay in.
