Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite advanced and relevant. Teachers are always ready to help on any topic. Not just academic but personal as well. It is the best college in the nation and is worth every penny. It sometimes gets stressful but is relevant
Internships Opportunities
There are companies like arvind, Ani clothing, Allen Solly, Rahul mishra that offer internships under the roles of design assistant, social media manager, graphic designer and all with most of the time no stipend to 15k per month. Here we need to check the technicality of the fabric, do design process and pattern making .
Placement Experience
College placements are good enough. A whole week is dedicated to that. Students get enough opportunities throughout the course and are offered jobs in 4th year. Even after that if placement hasn't happened, the college faculties have enough contacts.
Fees and Financial Aid
1.5 lakh is the fees per semester. There is a 10% increase annually. It is same for all categories but around 9 lakhs for NRI students. Lab, library, medical is all included at the start of academic session.
Campus Life
College life is fun except before the jury season. It is quite packed since the start of the semester but is taught in a fun manner. Trips and industry visits are planned so that it doesn't ever get boring. Clubs are active
Hostel Facilities
I didn't choose the college's hostel as their was no message plus the accomodation was very high, so I decided to live in a nearby pg. In my pg room, we are provided with a bed, almirah and table chair set. It has been 3 years till now but the menu here is as it is not changement at all plus sometimes the quality of food is very disappointing. In registration process I was asked to fill a form with all my details and a security deposit of 10000 which is my one month rent. To be honest, the price is high according to services we get plus the locality is not that great .
Admission
This college is the best in the nation for the course. It comes under the textile ministry so there are a lot of opportunities that are provided throughout the course. The admission process is quite simple.
Faculty
Faculty is very good and experienced. They provide information on any topic whenever we want. Are willing to help whenever we ask. Opportunities are enough. They provide internship and collaboration with research papers as well.
Night Life
The campus is in hauz khas that is the hub of night life in Delhi. So there is no issue of missing out. The college Library is quite huge. There are other libraries and quite many cafes around where one can work or just enjoy
