BBIT AND SOME TRUTH

Campus is very well maintained and very big compared to all college of Kolkata
Fest and tech event organized by college
Free medical checkup are provided at JIMS

Dislikes

Food of canteen is so bad in tastes and the momos are the worst
You should come college in proper college dress
75 percentage attendance are mandatory to have

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement with some requirements students must have atleast 6 sgpam. If I haven't that much SGPA theb I am not eligible for campus placement. I didn't about company but local Kolkata based startup mosty with 4.5 lakh lpa. And about 70 % students get placement. I will do a Startup or get job in big company.

The college is best private college in terms of fees and refund after the placements.It provides well 5-7 lakhs per annum placement and highest in campus goes about 16 lakhs .Also the facilities are good and academically the college is the bes.
The infrastructure and smartness of college in terms of technology, sports etc are best

Dislikes

The campus is only of 10 acre including all the other courses buildings.
No fest has happened in the college for the last 4-5 years.Almost the clubs in the college are dead.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from 7th semester.The companies that visits the college are cognizant,TCS,Grand Thornston,Haldia Petrochemicals WIPRO, MICROSOFT , Accenture etc The highest package offered last year was 13 lakh and average package was 5-7 lakhs. About 85% of the students got placed last year.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is quite good. 89% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, etc. in 2023. Moreover, this college also conducts special classes for placements where you will learn how to prepare for interviews and crack the interviews.

Some say this is the best private engineering college

Likes

The placement is good nearly 85 percentage of students are placed in campus with an average package of 4 lap
The campus is good and big if you are at 1st floor you will take 3 to 4 minutes to get down to the ground
Class are big as comparison to the computerlabs

Dislikes

The canteen you you are non Bengali than you can have a problem of eating in a carteen
Our college is near the road somethime noises also distribute you
You have basket ball court in campus but the volleyball court in the the different ground

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students becime eligible for campus placement Many companies visited our college such as :-tcs ,Wipro , Amazon ,tech Mahindra, ibm,l&t,Infosys,HCl and many more More than 85 percentage of students are placed in this year

in my college have good and healthy environment .
my college is near city so there is no travelling problem.
college infrastructure is very good and have modern computer lab .

Dislikes

student - teacher ratio is not good in my college
girls boys ratio is not good in my college.
college is very old so some building are damezed

Placement Experience:

from fifth semester student bocome eligible for campus placements. in my college visited various companis like TCS , WIPRO,...l last year highest package is 8 lakhs per year overall 80% student are placed in my college my plans after getting the degree is M TECH through GATE exam

Anti ragging campus there is no ragging in the campus nor outside the campus even in hostel you will not face any ragging

Dislikes

Small campus there is no campus life in this college. In name of campus u only have 3 buildings

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem student starts to get internship and from 6th sem students start sitting in college placement, many companies visit our campus during placement and also faculty members help us. You can also take off campus placement also

Faculty is quite supportive of students and help them whenever needed
Very friendly environment in the college campus
Sports and other extra curricular activities are very much appreciated

Dislikes

Campus can be better maintained in terms of space utilisation
Classrooms are not well lit and we'll ventilated
Transportation is a problem for students not living in the metro line

Our college does provide placement opportunities but since it is a tier-III college packages are very low, even starting from 5000/- per month. Amazon, TCS and JQspiders had approached a month back. Percentage of students getting placements are very low almost 20-30%

The infrastrure is well obviously.....The teachers are quiet decent ...Rooms are very big with very good loghts .....Ac is also availble For all the Year....

Dislikes

Attendence js compulsory.......And routine is very hard to maimtain

I didnt know much about the college...But the placement is through 3rd year as i know...The companies visited here are all about MNC...The highest package offered is 60lpa as I know minimum is 3lpa...percentage of student placed is 83%....after completing the degress i wkll do M.Tech

A other state student perspective on a other state college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is small , not Free Bus Facility , No medical store nearby
Teachers mostly talk in Bengali and some teacher not able to understand hindi properly
College Location , College only provide AC to teacher and in Lab , Drinking Water is Not good it like Drinking a contaminated rain water even though they provide from some purifier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall Improvment i guess its needed for Techning Method. I choose CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) because i want to learn how real world application work how they had influence in the world of the technology.

Rooms are big that every room can carry more than 100 students
The campus is so large that it contains 3 sports fields, 5 hostels and 3 building for academic purposes
Students have so many facilities provided by college

Dislikes

College doesn't provide any scholarship.
College don't have any auditorium for cultural program.
Class management is so poor, sometimes classes are choosen to be off by professors

Placement Experience:

As per record on campus placement is really amazing compared to other colleges being in rural area.. employability is quite impressive. Jalpaiguri is the best college nearby so it is also not bad in its own.
