IEM Ashram Campus Review

Likes

Placement opportunities, IEM provides almost 100% placements
Our college is fully air conditioned, really helpful in summers
Supportive and Kind faculties and their helpful nature

Dislikes

Our campus is not to large, located in core office area
College timings and strictness for being late

Placement Experience:

I choose IEM mostly because of its placement opportunities, it provides almost 100% placements to students. BCA is a 6 semester course and from 5th Semester we're eligible for campus placements. Highest package of our course is 10 LPA and average package is around 3-4 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get ensure a job in good company.

I liked the infrastructure of the campus.
the campus festtivals they provide to students are really good and knowledge ful.
Average packages for btech is also quit good.

Dislikes

I don't like the bengali culture all over the college.
People talk in bengali as their first language
Also the semester result announcements are also very delayed

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are average like 3 to 4 LPA and the highest packages are something like 27 LPA. Top recruiters of our colleges are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Atlassian,, Infotech, etc

BCA , A way to enter computers world

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are mony companies visited the college for placement like tcs, wipro, enfosys etc. The highest package is 5.5 lakh per annum till now and the average package is 4 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placements is 80. My plans after getting the degree is to do mca for better education.

IEM is socially interactive in the cases of industry visits , fest competition participation . Placement is also maintaing a percentage of 93 to 94 % which is a appreciable amount .
The expert faculties guide us to achieve our goals and the followed curriculum helps us in personal and professional development .

Dislikes

I really had a dream to enjoy our college life ... and it turned out to be a school

The 5th sem is enough for a IEM student to get placed for a company . Cognizent , Deloitte , SAP , Amazon , Federal Bank , WIPRO , Capgemini, TCS ets Average pacage 2024 : 5.2 LPA , highest : 8.5 LPA Placement 2024 : 94% students Getting a good placement with a high salary.

All About my college IEM

Likes

The teachers explain the things properly. The management is also good
The environment inside the college is very good .
The placement campus is good. The teachers and the staff are co-operative

Dislikes

The washroom should be cleaned. Bad smell comes out
There should be Ac in all the classrooms.
They should complete the chapters before exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is a very good course where we get to learn Many things such as coding etc . Recently I completed learning c programming. And after one week I will be starting with the Java . Digital electronics as well as computer architecture are also very interesting. By persuing BCA we can go for artificial intelligence, cyber security etc

So Placement in IEM is very well as it is the third best college in West Bengal and and the placement in this college is near about 90 to 95% of the students get placed in good companies . So the placement in my course basic starts near about when we are in 4th semester Or 5th semester . The companies which came for placement this year was Amazon, Adani ,TCS, Wipro , Infosys etc

Better skills , better jobs. Good knowledge , good scopes.

Likes

Our college has a good reputation as per survey.
College infrastructure is pretty good and all accomodation are as per students' comfort.
As per seniors say, our college gives a guaranteed placement.

Dislikes

For the current batch the students are worried about their placements as number of students has increased humoungusly.
Our college maintains all required knowledge which should be given to the students, for securing the placements.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement success rate for our college is 97 percentage. On an average 3.5 lpa to 6lpa is offered to a fresher of this course. This all informations are being collected from our seniors. Our college grooms and prepares each candidate for their job placements and interviews.

Placement source is good and education system is also good
Teachers are very experienced and very helpful and behaviour also good with students
Ambience is good and ac are available in classroom

The college authority is very strict you must enter in college before 9:15
Every students are has to be maintained her dress code in everyday
And student does not leave the class or college when they on want

My College experience

Likes

Classrooms have AC and Water facilities are all working
The placements are very good in our college
We have a very good team of faculty members and other staffs

Dislikes

There’s a lot of attendance pressure in our college
It’s more like a school than a college . You cant go in and out anytime you want
There are many rules and regulations in our college and if you cant abbide those rules you will be suspended

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my degree ( BCA ) there is 6 semisters and a will to do or not Honours programs of 2 semisters. We have 2 Midsems and 1 End sem in a semister and MARKS is calculated in CGPA / SGPA . The exams are quit interesting
