Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the campus.
the campus festtivals they provide to students are really good and knowledge ful.
Average packages for btech is also quit good.

Dislikes

I don't like the bengali culture all over the college.
People talk in bengali as their first language
Also the semester result announcements are also very delayed

I will rate my course that is BCA the best course over btech beacuse in my course the we are provided with all the technologies which are taught to btech students in specific department so I would say my course is better.

Placement Experience

Placements of the college are average like 3 to 4 LPA and the highest packages are something like 27 LPA. Top recruiters of our colleges are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Atlassian,, Infotech, etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are also provided to the bengali students who are native bengalis of the state from our college. Almost 60000 to 100000 Rs. Of scholarship is provided to the students. And this is a very good thing.

Campus Life

Campus life is also quit good. Their are interesting tech fests organised and dancing programs such as Navodaya fest is organised in which top DJ's are welcomed and also celebrities comes every year to promote thier movies.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is also good as it is very safe and secure but the food provided to us is very vain as I live in college hostel so I can say that they need to improve the hostel facility. But the hostel is much more safe for girls.

Hostel Fee: INR 76000 per year

Admission

The admission process was not so hard. I had to give a CET test and score a better rank in it that was in online mode so I did so and hence got alloted to my college and git admission. Students are provided admissions in Btech through jee mains and wbjee mains also.

Faculty

Yes, the faculty members are quite knowledgeable and have done there PhD in their specified subjects. They teach thier respective subjects in English language. Their approach to teach is also good and better.

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.

The overall campus life and experience is good . Good infrastructure and very nice events.

I applied to scotting church and jis university also. I prefered this college as it is affordable with good reputation and is near my home . It is also affiliated with makaut university unlike the other colleges . The placement is 65%. The eligibility is not that hard to achieve. Minimum 75% in class 12 is enough.
