Reasons to not apply for NSHM Knowledge Campus

Dislikes

Faculty was not upto the mark in regards to the hefty college fees we were charged
Even during covid online classes we were charged full fee which is again absolutely horrendous

The year wise course fee was approx - 1,14,000 Tuition fee - 88,000 ; caution fee - 0 ; registration fee - 2500 ; admission - 8,000 ; lab fee - 0 ; miscellaneous - 10-15k depending on your course for me it was roughly 11 The only available scholarship was the "ASHA JYOTI" scholarship which ranged from 30-85% To avail the scholarship one had to sit for an exam which included aptitude tests, family income needed to be lower than 70k per month, required marks to sit for the exam was 85% for 10th and 80 for 12th.

I paid 4 lakh for pursuing BSc in media science. Other than that there are many other courses like BBA in management, hospitality, BSc in film and television, media, sports management and much more. Our college also provides scholarships. They are special opportunities for physically disable students and also for ST and SC class students. They are many options for extra curriculum activities, we can participate a take part in any of the clubs like cultural club, alumini club, sports club, journalism club, event club and so on. They also hold many workshops for the benefit of the students. We have labs and library which we can use whenever we need for our work purpose and study purpose.

I'm doing this for money

Semesterly fees were Rs 56,000. In a whole year consisting of two semesters, we pay Rs 1,12,000. Admission was Rs 80,000 and Rs 10,000 more as security deposit. No scholarships were available as such. The other two streams under The Heritage Academy, BCA and BBA, paid Rs 52,000

Review of The Heritage Academy

The course fee is too expensive as conpared to other colleges in Kolkata

The tuition fee is relatively very high as compared to the other colleges having this similar course. The whole course fee for three years is around 3.6 lakhs which is costly enough. Though they doesn't provide guaranteed placements which is definitely a negative aspect.

I also liked the course curriculum that was taught to us and how relevant it was to the real-life work scenario and which eventually helped me later in life.

There are no fee hikes or increase policies in FIEM, the complete cost of education was around 3 lakhs. There are some scholarships offered for top scorers but it varies with each department and changes with time. There are no campus employment opportunities available in FIEM.

Fees is a little bit high for a middle class family but with systematic planning and saving fees structure is not that bad. At every semester we have to give our fees that is 56000 ig and it will be around 72000 in masters

The fees structure depend on the course and the subject that how well the faculties are helpiing the students and how they are teaching and other factors.On the time of education the admission was 40000 and the sems frees were 56000 ther were gov fees available..
