Mostly positive remarks. Though as the university is under west Bengal govt the funding is less thus the facilities are sometimes lesser than IITs. The processes are still carried on by khata, using computers in data management of University hasn't make a way. Thus making the process very slow.

Jadavpur University takes admission only through WBJEE. Before 2019 there was no home state quote, however, from 2019, the university added a 90% domicile system for West Bengal students. Now the admission process is quite similar to JOSAA. Everyone has to fill choices and then seats are allotted according to rank. After getting a document verification certificate from reporting center visit the university on the dates given on their website. After the necessary verification of the documents, all the original ones will be returned except the document verification certificate issued by reporting center. They will keep a self-attested photocopy of the documents. The admission occurs in July month. This university is one the best in India for engineering and its return of investment is awesome. When I was in 10th . I decided to do engineering because it's my dream. Then I appeared for west bangal joint entrance exam and I got good rank and I selected for jadavpur university which is top college of india(NIRF: 16th rank). So You have to give wb jee entrance examination to take admission in this college.

You have to appear for WBJEE. And you have to get a rank under 1500 to get decent branch in this college. This institution has very good ranking i. e under 10 and it is one of the best universities of india. It is an old university and situation in Jadavpur kolkata. WBJEE is held in month of january every year and notification will start in No,vember.

Certainly there are various remarks about our university but they are not all true.students here get good placement, surely with there hard work and students here are not only good in one thing but more than one.

Negative : Infrastructure is very poor. It can be very good with just a few investments and maintenance. Positive: Freedom in campus and good placements. And a good network of students. Very important.

The results are published very late i.e. after 4-5 months of Exam. This must be done correct.

The college management is not very approachable and cooperative, especially middle management. As such, students face great difficulty in getting documents verified or issued by the administration.

College is very compatible and affordable. i must suggest that our college not an iit but it is neverthless than iits. You get a complete academic and indusrial practce with the help of which you can find yourselves comfortable in any sort of job. Being government funded politics is an issue in the college otherwise everything is remarkable.
