Mostly positive remarks. Though as the university is under west Bengal govt the funding is less thus the facilities are sometimes lesser than IITs. The processes are still carried on by khata, using computers in data management of University hasn't make a way. Thus making the process very slow.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers most of the electrical engineering fundamentals. Our university gives placement to most of the students. Many students perform their projects under the profeesors. They can also opt for higher studies here in Jadavpur University or in other IITs depending upon their gate rank.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are best among the Universities in india. Almost 100% placement happens in cs, ece. 80% placement in ee, me, ce. Many multinational companies come in our college. They offer quite handsome money also
College Events
Srijan Sanskriti Our departmental fest - convolution And other departmental fests Srijan is tech. Fest for the whole University, participants come from many colleges of WB. Sanskriti is a cultural fest. Many bands singers come to perform their. And convolution is also a tech fest organised by juee. We see a huge turn up of students from our and other universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very cheap. For engineering total fees for 4 years is less than 10000, excluding hostel and mess fees. At the time of form fillup we pay 5000, then at the time of admission we pay 760, for every semester exam we pay 65-84 Rs. After 3rd year we pay 3000 more. And that's it for the fees. For the IT branch the structure is different
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't have any scholarships. Though the university offers scholarship for poor students. The union provides the scholarship via verifying their anuual income. Apart from this students can apply for vivekananda scholarship and others
Campus Life
Gender ration, worshop about IoT, Texas instruments, robotics, machine learning, CNC machining technology, religion, status from ours economics, circkets, food ball, tense, handball, throw ball, discuss throw.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are better than the other college.the room contain the attached bathroom in per room two members.the room contains fan and cott.the seprate bed for per person.the two slef contain the room.
Alumni/Alumna
As ju is a very old University and it has high esteem, our alumni network is very strong. Many of the alumnis come back to our university to teach. Many of them donate huge money to university for different reasons. The senior students are very helpful. They helps a lot on studies as well as many things
Admission
I sat on wbjee. Scored sufficient rank to got admission here. Jadavpur University is the best University under wes bengal govt. and in west bengal it's rank is just next to iit kgp, so I chose juee. As electrical is a good stream here
Faculty
Well qualified faculties. They are very experienced. And they are on par with most of the best Universities of india. They always help you in understanding the subject. You can knock them any time, they will help one. They are not bounded with office hrs they work after working hrs to
