Students of 3rd and 4th year are likely eligible for placement. Google,Microsoft, amazon,tch ,wipro,etcare visited for recruitment. Highest package offered was 1.5 crore and average package is 15 LPA. Almost all the students get placed in good companies with good package. To get placed in good mnc at best package.

IIT KGP has the highest placement record of 2.4 crores per annum with 1600 offers which are the highest in the industry. The average package stands at 35 lakhs per annum. Computer science is a rewarding career and gets several foreign offers too from top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, Hero Motocorp, Tata steel, etc. These companies mainly recruit candidates for positions like Software developer, web developer, database administrator, computer systems analyst, data science, information security, systems analyst, computer architect, soft engineer, etc. The companies usually look for candidates having prior experience in the industry like internships, live projects and a well-developed portfolio.

I don't know about these things. I am just a first-year undergraduate. As I have heard it's decent. I have not placed anywhere placements started from third year and fourth year. All I can say is that it is descent. The highest package in 2021 is 2.2 crore and the average package is 14.9 lakhs per annum.

The recent placements organized at the campus observed some of the marvelous results in the history of IIM. 100 companies participated and 1600 placement offers were made to the candidates. Rs. 2.4 CPA was observed as the highest CTC. Qualcomm, Microsoft, IBM, Google were the top recruiters of the week. Around 35 international offers were received. Software, Analytics were the major recruiting sector.

The placements here at IIT Kharagpur are strong, but if you're in the agriculture and food engineering department, you can have a hard time being hired if you don't have industry-relevant abilities to go along with your academic credentials. from 7th semester students became eligible for placements and also, there were many internship opportunities in college from the 2nd -3rd year. The number of students placed are 1056. 1crore + offers, out of which 10 were domestic. 35+international offers were given. 420+pre-placement offers were given. My plan after getting degree is to grab a good job/placement.

At the start of the third year, the internship process starts and at the start of the 4th year, the placement process starts. a lot of companies visit the college Intel, TI, Samsung, Microsoft, nutanix, Walmart, JLR. most of the students are placed. Yes, I wish to pursue higher studies.

For B.Tech. (4 years) students, the campus internships are being done before the commencement of the academic third year. The same for M.tech (5 years) students is done before the commencement of their fourth academic year. I am not aware of the rest questions. I don't have plans right now for my future.

The placement percentage is almost more than 90% and the top companies that visit campus are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, Adobe, Fortune 500 and different companies from different sectors and profiles. The highest package is in crores which are international packages. Average package of college is around 15 LPA. Students from different department get placed in top MNCs so its an open opportunity for all. From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Around 70% students get internships in top and most prestigious companies. I'm a competitive programmer and full stack web developer. I'm looking forward to join top companies and I want to grab a good and decent placement. I'm also passionate about research projects and foreign training. I'm also thinking of doing MS in top universities of world.
