All the IITs, including ours the fees for students who are from general category is same and that is 350k a year. This includes everything apart from hostel and mess fees. Fo an institution like IIT which sometimes have given the Placements like IIMs the fees to me is very fair.

My campus life

My college fees was total 152000 in which 100000 is the course fee aur 12000 is extra curricular fee and 40000 is for hostel and mess bill . And this 152000 was per semester fee .Yearly it was going to 300000 plus . Per year there was a few increament in the fee around 2000-3000.

te tuition fee for general category students whose parents income is greater than 5 lakh p.a is 1 lakh per semester and whose income is less than 5 lakh is 33333 per semester whereas for sc/st/pwd students and students whose parents income is less than 1 lakh is nil.The caution money ,registration and other fees except the hostel and mess fees is total around 25k whereas the hostel and mess fee is around 25k per semester which contributes to a total of 150000 rupees for general category students . there are a various of scholarship which many organisation offers to the student of iit , in which students can register and after meeting the required criteria ,they can get the scholarship amount

IIT KGP is amazing!!

IIT Kho which is the third highest ranked IITs charges 3 and a half lakhs a year. The fees ain't that heavy and all the IITs have the same fees be it IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay or the others. For all SC students the IIT Kharagpur has Central Sector Scholarship Scheme through which all SC students get 30% scholarship.

A very rigorous time table and it has not just taken the toll from students but faculties too.

Fees for all the IITs is same as it is around 3.6 lakhs a year. 2 lakhs is the tuition fee and since IIT is a residntial campus 60k is for hostel fees and rest all ar mess fees and other charges. Merit based scholarships up to 25% to merit based students.

If you want to go for higher educations college will provide all the means. It also has student exhange programs for semester where you could spend a semester abroad studying in some good colleges. There are many MOUs signed.

Academic load is too great. Everything revolves around your CGPA.

The fees include Tuition Hostel and mess fees and some overheads. The fees for general category is 149000 including all expenses. There are several fees benefits for EWS category and tuition fees for general is 100000 whereas tuition fees for family whose annual income is less than 500000 there are some reductions. HMCFees is 36500 and there are no fees reduction in HMCFEES.

life at IIT KGP

the fee structure considering the opportunities an IIT provide is justified. its a one time investment which will definitely yeild big paybacks if you used the resources wisely. the fee structure i paid was 2.6 lack anually for my first year which is devided into two semester fee . the first semester was 1.3 lacks and same will be oaid during the second semester. the st/sc categories student are extempted from paying the tution fees and those for obc and ews they have to pay the one third if the tution fees.

IIT Kharagpur: A Hub of Learning, Culture, and Growth

The year-wise fees I paid for 1st sem: Rs 1,49,005 Out of which refundable fee(library, hostel and institute) was Rs. 6000, onetime fee was Rs. 5700, semester fee was Rs 1,05,750 and Hall fees is Rs. 28,855 and the insurance etc. costs Rs. 2700. For other categories: SC and ST they do not have semester fees rest has to be paid; and for EWS and NCL students fees is semester fees is 1/3rd of the total. Multiple scholaeahips are available for students: some are for specific branches, some are for toppers and rest and most of the merit cum need are for families annual income under 6lpa. Eg. Aditya Birla Scholarship Brundabana Sahu Student Award Chandralekha Singh (KGP 1988) and Jeremy Levy Student Excellence Award in honour Prof. Mandakini Majumdar Chandralekha Singh (KGP 1988) and Jeremy Levy Student Excellence Award in honour of Prof. G. Life at IIT Kharagpur

I paid 56,750 for semester 1 and will be paying 42050 for semester 2. The fee may increase.The tueation fees which is 100000 is not applicable for SC, ST and PwD, one can also apply for fee waiver and get upto 100% tueation fee waiver as per family income. Students studying here are eligible for all scholarships for Btech.
