From the 2nd last semester students become eligible for campus placement . Comapines like google , apple and so many visited. more than 90% students get placement. I will do job after getting a degree.

Till now, the basics are being taught, I have talked to seniors of my department and they say that our course is good and curriculum is updated, it will be helpful if they included more computered learning for chemicals such as using computers to synthesize specific material or to emulate how said chemical will perform in certain situations. Our midsems started just 1 month after we came here, I think there should be more time given for the first exam as the students need to adjust as well.

The first placement drive is held in the seventh semester, where various companies come to the college and interview students. A total of 1353 offers were made int the 2023-24 session. from each department 70 to 80 percent students get placed. I will sit for placements and prepare to get a job.

At IITs students are free to find placements on their own and if not then durng the final year, companies like L&T, Pum Lloyd, Tata Motors, and Mahindra Auto among others come and take students in numbers. Students plaement percntage is 100% an some students even have dual offers and hence students here are spolit for choies as placements are thsi good. Avrage for Mechanical students is aroud 20lakhs.

From 7th semester (4-year course) and 9th semester (dual degree) students become eligible for placements Career development Center (CDC), conducts a strong drive of placements at our campus. Numerous companies varying from large scale like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley..etc to startups visit our campus during placements. Many roles like software development, data science, finance, consulting, supply chain, product management are offered to students irrespective of their department.

Students get eligible for placements from the 5th semester or final year ( depending on their degree). There are various companies visiting every year like Google , Microsoft , Amazon , BCG , Apple , Graviton , Zepto , Samsung , ITC , Accenture , Tata Steel and many more . The highest packages given are more than 100 lacs while the average package is around 15 lacs . Every company offers atleast 1,2 profiles like SDE , Analytics , Finance , Consultancy ,etc . Around 2400 students sit for placements every year and more than 1700 are placed . I plan to get a job in the placements next year and study further

Around 70 percent students here opt for placements, others might go for Higher studies or for business/startups. This number might decrease this year and within next few years as the Startup craze is increasing in students

There is an internship at the end of 3rd yesr and from 4th year students get PPOs and get placed in various colleges. Almost every tech and other comapanies visit our college ranging from google amazon to reliance , adani industries.The Highest package of mechanical engineering ranges from 80-100 lacs and the median package is 18-19lacs. The percentage of students getting placed is about 75 percent whereas many other get to higher studies or UPSC. I am aiming for higher studies after graduation.

Students can register for placement in two consecutive windows, one in July and one in January. After , the students are eligible for the placements through CDC(Career Development Centre). The highest package offered to a student during the 2022-2023 placement season was 2.68 crore p.a. (CPA).Average package goes around 29 laks p.a. Top recruiters are:- Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Qualcomm, Apple, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Wipro,etc Almost 93%of people were placed. My plans is to take a job and head further in the tech field.

I can't judge the curriculum only in one month ,we have two departmental course and three non departmental course,one is advance calculas,one is mechanics and last is physics of waves, . the physics of waves is the hardest I think
