Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very relevant very very relevant and over the schools will help the student to get jobs and internships the difficulties to high but it is very good if one learn here if you will learn here you'll be very skilled

IIT Kharagpur provide the best internship and you can get internship into companies like Google Amazon Texas oracle etc these are the best internship opportunities in the country has compared to peee IITs

Placement Experience

The campus placement of this college is best in the country and the best placements I given to the students whether it is BTech or M.tech the placements are very good we have an average of around 25 to 30 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is the best college. It's an IIT and the fees is too less. You'll get good resources, internships and placements. You'll get scholarship cum stipend of 12400 every month. The over-all rating of this college would be 10/10

Campus Life

The over all life is very good you can do many things we are but if you are an m tech students your academics would be hectic and you will need to focus more on studies so the campus life would be less happening for you

Hostel Facilities

There are hostel facilities the hostels are like mmm hostel LBS hostel etc and these hostel are good we have mess to and the message good to overall it is fine in one can manage here I didn't find any problem here

Admission

I choose this college because this is the best IIT it has the best research facilities placement facilities internship facilities and for machine learning purpose this institute provides good resources to study and has a very good reputation in the field of machine learning so I choose this college

Faculty

This college has excellent faculty is excellent facilities and overall good education and research attitude also the grading is relative and it is a big difficult to score here and to get a good CGPA here but over all the institute and its academic are very good.

Night Life

The night life is good but because of assignments and academic pressure you won't be able to enjoy it there is a lot of stress and the curriculum is hectic but if you can manage you can enjoy yes there is nothing outside the campus

M.Tech in IIT KGP - What you need to know.

A student's perspective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good. Only need the guidance which course is good of us. Syllabus is quite lengthy. I think theoretical knowledge is good but need of some practical knowledge is required. Laboratory work should be divided so that each students experience the best.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 1000 of company visit campus every year in January and December month. Placement takes place in two form one in December and other in January. Like IBM, puma, ICC bank, Deloitte, ABG, Lenovo, etc. highest package is about 2.68 crore per annum, average 15lpa According to different profiles. Students should have more than 8.5 cgpa for good placements. I will join a good company after completing the degree.

Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
