Reality of IIT KGP

Many of people who come after IIT JEE AIN'T choosing the branch because they like it.they take it because they dont have the choice to get what they like.so studying that can be hectic for eg in departments like electrical or mechanical

For internship reputed companies like amazon flipkart zomato Goldman sachs google all these companies usually come for placement but the issue is that most of the companies which come for placement or interview only take people who are from circuital branches only.which is not a good thing.so thats when your branch gives you a boost

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The tuition is fee is around 1 lakh And mess fees around 40k Thats the fees for a single semester But if your family income is in between 1lakh and t lakh 2/3rd of your tuition fee is waivered If less than 1 lakh whole tuition fee is waivered

The main thing to get into a club is communication which many of us lack.and the system here aint that good. If you know someone from the club you may get selexted just because of theirr recommendation rather than ur skill so i think that it isnt a good thing.it should be changed .not only societies everything here can be done by connections. Riding a bike in campus aint allowed but you can if you have connections

As i said its all about your JEE RANK . As usual people need money so people with highest rank opt computer science. JeE rank depends on your brillantness. But it also depends on how early you have starten. In current times there are stilll people who dont know about IITs.me who know it from 11th standard . But my friends here who are in CS department started their preparation in their 7th standard or soo

As i said the faculties are not as good as you expect.they have knowledge in the subject but dont know to teach.and the gradr depends just on the teachers. If you know the teacher personally you will easily get good grades.whixh should not be permissible

Nightlife is soo good.if singles roam around at night they may feel bad.the wholw campus is surrounded by couples there are couples everywhere.but if you have a good group of friends that can tally that. So make good friends the night life will also be good
