IIT KGP is only for scholars and fees is also in check. For Engineering along with hostel fees all i pay is 2.8 lakhs a year. Reservation schemes, sports quota scheme and likewise innumerable scholarships are available. One can check the scholarships circular on college website or there is a cell for it and people working there are very kind and helpful.

Less open book exams. The academics of the campus is honestly, one of the finest but the real life application of the knowledge provided can do some work. Like irl, we will jave our phones and books but be faced with harder problems. So tackle it 1st

Year-wise total fees is 312000 INR, fees per semester=156000 INR Each semester, tuition fees is 100000 INR and the rest 56000 INR includes lab fees, mess fees, services, societies etc.. Admission fees was 30000 INR in josaa counselling. For Gen-Ews and OBC candidates, 66% is off on tuition fees. i.e. in each semester they have to pay 33333 INR as their tuition fees instead of 100000 INR. For SC, ST category, tuition fees is completely 0 and only management fees is to be paid (56k INR).

It varies each sem , it is on average 1 lakh 50k , this sem it was one lakh 48 k 30 rupees where one lakh was institute fees and remaining for hostel mess fees , for sc st and management people there is no institute fees , their fees will be lowered to only 48k

Glimpse of IIT Kharagpur

The year wise fees is pain is around 320000 per student or 3lakh 20 thousand per student. Tution fees is per semester is 100000 or 1lakh,caution fees is around 10K, registration fees is 800rs, development fees is 1000, lab fees is 3000 and also for mess and hostel its around 50K. If any student from SC, ST then he doesn't has to pay fees and also if person is from EWS and his family income is less than 1lakh then he doesn't pay any tution fees. only has to pay mess and hostel fees. in my batchmate 2 of my friend is from Sc, St so they only pay fees for mess and hostel and for general one they pay whole fees per semester 1.5Lakh. SC, ST scholarships.

The academic life is not too hectic. The course if not too vast for exams . Just attending classes and revising it is sufficient for getting a good cg. Although paper are set by IIT professors so it's a quite difficult but you can prepare it.

Year wise fees is 1.5 lakh i used to pay I fall under 1 lakh to 5 lakh family income category therefore I get a discount on tuition fees which is 1 lakh per semester,we get around 66% discount on that. Hostel fees is around 34000. Lab fees Is around 5000.gymkhana charges are around 900 and internet and medical facilities charges around 2000. Sc st people are in a great benefit there tuition fees is 100%off. It does not depends on whether a person is financially stable or not ,if he his father has crores of wealth ,even than also he has the benefit of free education in the college. The people whose family income lies above 5 lakh per annum pays full fees which is 3 lakh per annum. Various scholarships for daughters of militarty staff, sc/st scholarships,merit cum scholarships and some private scholarships are provided.

I have paid 100000 fee for one semester. There are several scholarships for General, OBC and ST/SCs like MCM(Merit-cum-Means Scholarship). This Scholarship contains 1. If your family annual income is less than 5 lakhs Then you are eligible for 66% scholarship of the total tution fee 2.If your family income is less than 1 lakhs Then you are eligible for 100%scholarship. Some of my friends have paid only 33000 for one semester.

Comprehensive Review of IIT KGP

The total yearly fees of my Institute is 3,12,000. The total tuition fees is 2,00,000 per year. The caution fees Include that of Institute,Library and Hostel sums up to 6,000 per. The registration fees,admission fees,lab fees and other compulsory charges are 40,000. The Hostel and Mess fees are 70,000 annually.

IIT Kharagpur the dream of every jee aspirant

The merit cum need scholarship is for students whose family income is less than 6 lakhs per annum . In this scheme then get a monthly amount of around 5 thousand. There are also a scholarship for BS degree students to promote research

Iit Kharagpur review

Fees are 1,50,000 per semester but vary according to college expenditure at that time. It is 3 lakh per year. 1 lakh is mess fees and other for 1 year and 2 lakh is tution fees. No scholarship was taken for my fees. There are scholarships based on family income.
