Iit Kharagpur review

Our chemical engineering curriculum is hard we have 2 professors teaching at one time like in a week both professors will distribute classes. The course is difficult to understand and mostly prepares for real-world and analytical skills. The exams are conducted on time.

We have CDC internships this year Texas Instrument which give stipend of 60000 and also Parimal give a good 1.25 lakh per month of stipend American Express give 1.5 lakh per month of stipend Parimal farm also give good opportunities give 1.25 lakh for chemical core

B.tech student are eligible for placement after 6th semester and dual degree after 8th sem. Very less percentage get placement in start but are filled slowly in phase 2 and 3. Google Microsoft NVIDIA Texas Instruments visits our campus .

Fees are 1,50,000 per semester but vary according to college expenditure at that time. It is 3 lakh per year. 1 lakh is mess fees and other for 1 year and 2 lakh is tution fees. No scholarship was taken for my fees. There are scholarships based on family income.

Spring fest and Kshitij Fest is held in January. Our library is Asia biggest library which has almost all the books available. Classrooms are good with facilities like air conditioners, mike visibility and projectors and sports are conducted.

My hostel has acid ladies like table chair and bed and good ventilation we have mess in our hostel. Hostel food or mess food is not very good. Meal quality is good and hygienic but is not very tasty and repeated menu.

I chose IIT Kharagpur because it offers a great balance between academic excellence, research opportunities, and campus life. Among the other IITs I applied to Hyderabad, Delhi, Bombay, and Kanpur, I felt that IIT Kharagpur had the best overall infrastructure and a well-established reputation in Chemical Engineering, which is the branch I preferred.

Faculty members are good and hardworking. They are generally phd scholars and researchers. We can collaborate with the professor for our project and guidance. The curriculum is flexible we have mid sem and end-sem and class tests in one semester.
