In my opinion, an IIT KGP CSE dual degree is a better option than IIT Guwahati CSE. Here’s why You get an additional degree in just one or two years You don’t have to sit for another entrance exam like GATE Companies that open profiles for BTech also open the same profiles for Dual Degree students. IIT Guwahati is also a good option for CSE. However, one should opt for IIT Delhi EE only if You are confident that one will be able to change branch within a year. This is because you will end up studying CS courses with external coaching. To secure a job, the best options are CSE or MBA. For MBA, your branch does not really matter, only your institute does.

After considering all the factors, I would suggest you choose Industrial Systems Engineering at IIT KGP over Electrical Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar. IIT kgp through a fresher

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees for iit estimates to 10 lakh as per my knowledge for a btech general student, but myself being an obc student allows me to gain a fee waiver which evaluates to 2/3rd of the course fees.I am also availing mcm scholarship (Merit cum means) which provides me with a 1000 rs for each moment i am present here.

For General / obc category students , the tution fees is rp 100000 per semester addtional charges include : 1. hostel and mess charges : 25k per semester 2. other fees : 1. admission fees : 3k one time 2. registration fee : 1.5k per sem 3. caution deposit :; 10k refundable 4. lab and development fees: 5k-10k per year the total charges are 2.5L-2.7L category wise concession : 1.sc/st students : tution fees is not there but other charges are there 2. ews students : eligible for partial fee waivers. 3. obc ncl students : some scholarships are availiable but no full waivers scholarships : 1. merit cum means scholarhsips : provides 1k-2k permonth for ews stduents 2. institutes free studentship - cover tuiton fees for finiacially weak students

You Have to maintain at least seventy five at percent attendance in class To To give your endsem exams.
Sometimes, you have to study some subjects , which are not related to your department.

I have to pay around one lakh fifty seven thousand as my one Semester fee And it is almost constant during the whole graduation. There are many call police program's available by our Institute , so you can try in them. Some of them are based on your family income And some are based on your quota. Our tution fee is one lakh And All of my Batchmate pay almost same amount.

IIT Kharagpur : A very well executed institution which helps the students grow and excel in life

IIT Kharagpur yearly fee for the B.Tech programs which include the fees for the academic year 2024 is about INR 2.2.4 lakhs per year for UG category that includes almost all additional charges, like tuition fee, hostel fee and other miscellaneous expenses. The overall fee structure for a whole four years B.Tech program ranges between Rs. 9-10 lakhs with slight variations and extra costs. This fee structure may also vary for students with reservation and other scholarship benefits so you should keep that in mind. The fees only keeps rising as the years go by due to inflation but still it's comparatively affordable due to it being a govt. college

The Course curriculum keeps on updating yearly as per the needs of the Industry and there is very flexibility throughtout the course curriculum which allows you to persue your passion and interest

The Total fees of First year is 254755 which Includes, Tution Fees : 200000 /yr Hostel Fees : 57710 /yr Caution fees : 6000 Registration fees : 800 /yr Laboratory fees : 1600 /yr and Other Charges also. The Total fees for consecutive years sum upto 211500 /yr Note : (1) If your Annual Family Income is between 1 Lakh to 5 Lakh, then only 33% of Tution fees has to be paid (2) If your Annual Family Income is less than 1 Lakh, then whole tution fees is waived off (3) Also If you belong to SC/ST/PWD category, then also your whole tution fees is waived off Apart from these, There are many other scholarships also which are run by the Institute as well as Alumini also from which students can be benefitted

Tution Fee for every semester is Rs.1,00,000/- for any department or any year. All other hostel and convenience fee sum up to around 40-50k per semester. There are numerous scholarship opportunities for students. Also the institute provides financial aid upon submission of family income documents. Families below 1,00,000/- income get total fee reimbursement. Families below 5,00,000/- get 66% fee reimbursement.

The fees per semester at iit kgp os around 1.6 lakhs including all expenses. This number may come down to around 1 lakh if you have family income below 5 lpa. There are also scholarships for the weaker sections and meritorious students .

Overall experience of a first year in IIT KGP

I will be paying 200000 yearly paying fees, caution fees is 1500, admission fees is 10000, lab charges are 4000, and other compulsory charges are 15000. There are scholarships based on caste and income crieteria. For the students of OBC and Gen ews category and those whose income is less than 500000 p.a. the tution fees is reduced to one third of it's original amount. For the students of SC/ST/ PWD categories the tution fees is 0 but the other charges and hall charges are applicable. There is no merit cum scholarship for the first year but from the second year the top performers from each course recieve 10000 scholarship along with a chance to attend a international seminar.

The Review of IIT KGP - the oldest of all iits

Very good government course in engineering btech and mtech for minimal fees. Quality education and hostel is provided for the students. The campus is the largest one in India for any engineering course.
