- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

- This place is very close to nature the campus is beautiful there is Greenery all around the campus
- The campus is full of facilities for all sort of other extra curricular activities there are facilities for all sort of sport. There are a lot of society which you can join according to your interest.
Dislikes
- The weather in Kharagpur is a but unpredictable there is heavy rain and just after it there is bright hot sunny day
Fees and Financial Aid:
The total hostel fee for a year is around 57710 The total tution fee for a year is around 2 lakh The total fee for one year is around 2.6 lakh In the first year you also have to pay some one time fee this in first year the fee goes to around 3 lakh For UR/EWS/OB-NCL whose income is less than 5 lakhs p.a. ther tution fee reduces to 66 thousand For UR/EWS/OB-NCL whose income is less than 1 lakh p.a. and SC/ST/PWD students they have no tution fee

- First thing I like about the college is its extracurricular activities.
- Everything is available within the campus so do not need to go outside the campus
Dislikes
- The campus is too large so you have to travel long distance.
- The weather here is very humid and temperature is always above like 20 degree Celsius

Tution Fees (per/semester): 100000 Hostel Fees (per/semester):30000 Other Fees like Mess etc 20000 So total fees (per/semester): 150000 *This is fees per semester which means fees per will be 2*fees per sem And the benefit that i received as a student of ews category is that I have to pay only 2/3 rd amount of fees And for Categories like SC and ST the fees is nil

- Tag of IIT KHARAGPUR is valuable, which give me some respect from society
- Hostel management and mess management is good
Dislikes
- Girl to boys ratio is around 20 precent .
- Weather of Kharagpur is not good most of time
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees for one semester is around 1,50,000 it also includes hostel and mess charges. To avail Scholarship one should have income less than 5 lacs, 2/3rd wavier on tution fee. If family income is less 1 lac than no tution fee. Also for SC/ST no tution fee are there
Likes
- Largest Campus around 2100 acres, with greenary through out the whole campus. Even in the day of scorching heat, the campus roads are covered by a lot of trees on both sides.
- Culturally, Technologically well-cultured institute. Also in the field of sports, the students show their amazing talent. Every year in Inter IIT competitions, our institute stays within top 3 positions in all - Sports, Cultural, Technology.
Dislikes
- Nowadays, senior-junior bonding is getting decreased compared to earlier times beacuse of less interaction.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees in an IIT is much higher though being a Government institution. Especially, tution fee cost is much higher ( 1 lakh per semester resulting 2 lakhs per year). The complete cost of a B Tech student is around 12-13 lakhs in 4 year. But the students who are economically weaker, they can avail tution fee waiver by showing valid income documents of their guardians. Besides, they can avail various scholarships which may support their study like MCM Scholarship etc.

- The campus is the biggest in all over India with 2200 acres.
- Most important are the networks and connection I made helped me a lot in my placements and internship
Dislikes
- The area is very remote it is not easy to get things urgently
- The weather is the worse especially in summers due to humidity and 42 degrees heat
Fees and Financial Aid:
Increase in fees totally depends on government policies. The tution fee is 100000 per semester and Hostel fee is 25000 per semester which includes all the other charges such as gymkhana and lab fee examination fee etc. A lot of scholarship are available for example Merit cum means, Income scholarship etc. Stipends are usually given to Interna and Mtech students.

- I like campus. Very green and full of trees plants.
- And offcourse the fest in my college are amazing.
Dislikes
- I think there should be a big city near college.
- It's very far from my home. I have to travel 2000km.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fee is 1lakh per semester means 2 lacs per year. And other fees including hostel rent,mess etc is around 80k per year. I am enrolled in dual degree course that means I have to pay total around 14 lacs of fees for my course.
Likes
- Greenary and fresh air and water , cleanliness makes our mind fresh.
- Most opportunities and almost all course with highest seats are available in IIT KGP
Dislikes
- Sometimes ,i feel that i am confined to this iit since Kharagpur has only iit which is fascinating
Fees and Financial Aid:
Per semester fee is 150000.But , if your family income is less than 500000 then tuition fee reduced if less than ?100000 then tuition fee becomes zero . MCM scholarships is provided to students if minimum cgpa is maintained .

- I liked here the campus and the facilities of sports and the environment here and also there are a lot of societies and clubs which gives us a very good environment
- and the teaching quality is also nice here
Dislikes
- i do not the like the rooms here as they are triple sharing
- i also do not like the distance from hostel to classroom complex
Fees and Financial Aid:
fees is very moderate and fee hike policy is not much as its is government college and there is ample amounts of scholarship for every group of students and there is already financial assistance given to low income family students and job opportunities are really good here as it is a central government college and also the entrance is hard to clear so people here are very amazing so a lot of companies are ready to come here to pick us up.

- The society is that conduct different extra curricular activities are very good.
- The people that come here are very intellectual and a very great to work with.
Dislikes
- The quality of food in mess is very bad, which is not acceptable.
- The warden are always rude and the problems to fix takes a lot of time.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees is pretty much affordable for a middle class family and every student can study in this college. If you belong to a lower caste you can get a scholarship which is provided by the college and there will be a reduction in amount of the tuition fee and a lot more facilities for you only.

- My experience here is too good.Campus is too neat and good.Faculties are too good.There are a lot of courses here at IIT KGP.
Dislikes
- Outside the campus there is no proper facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees at IIT KGP is 1.5L per semester including hostel fees.You will get awesome facilities as well faculties here.There is a lot scholarship opportunities.But to avail scholarship you must have to eligible for that.I got some concession in fees on the basis of family income.
