Honest and detailed review of IIT Kharagpur

Choosing is just on number you got in JEE-Advance Exam. I am a average student and I prepare as much as I can but some of aspects of life is not applied in my studies. Teaching can be improved by adding activities in it like giving assignments and something like that. some teaches are giving moderate question but some of teachers are givng very deep concept of that particular subject which they even taught us.

Semester wise-> Tution Fee-> 100000 Hostel with Mess fees ->50000 Year Wise-> Tution fee-> 200000 My hostel with Mess fee->10000 By this much amount of fee and the type education i get in my collage is not that correct

Inside college there ae many clubs and societies. Clubs are mainly focusing on skiils and some other aspects like personlatity and all other. In januray we have 2 fest-> 1. Kshitij- Technomanagement fest 2. Spring Fest- The Cultural Fest We can carry in type of book from library for 2 months freely after that we have to pay some amount. Or if we again register that particular book then we don't need to pay. We have AC ducts in classroom with that lights and fan. Also We have projecters with sound system. We have Inter-IIT and General champonship among all hostels (all type of sports availble in college).

Rooms are very small for 2 person and food quality is very bad in my particular hostel. My hostel is pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Mess is very bad No registration process of hostel they allot hostel by themselves

Chossing this college because it is old IIT and I think it is made for me. Addmission Process is simple give two exam with a 75% in +2 class. Two exams are Jee-Mains and Jee-Advance. I give my some preference list but according to my number I get this particular college

some faculty are very co-operative but most of them not co-operative. They just came in the class-room and give lecuture and give therat to fail the whole class again and again. In my course I have total 5 Subjects 1. Maths 2. Intro to Biotechnoloy 3. Microbiology 4. Biocemistry 5. Bioergectics and biochemical reactions and Exam pattern give below-> 1. Some test before Mid-Sem 2. Mid Sem 3. Post Mid sem test 4. End Sem

Nightlife of campus is good, we have library open till 12.00Am in night and upto 2.00Am we have night canteen for food. We have a GYM in college having a fees of 1000 per Year for students of college.(45 mins only daily except Sunday and government holiday) Hostels are 24*7 opens (boys cannot go in girls hostel) Campus are open for coming inside 24*7 but for going outside only 5.00AM-11.00PM Outside campus nothing to hangout but inside we have 4 lakes and A GYMKHANA and ADDA
