The aspects that influced me to choose this course are: >Large alumini network and IIT KGP and most number of students intake so it easy to find people with similar intrests >being in one of the top 5 IITs gives you the grooming required for you to excel in the later part of our lives >The curriculum does well prepare you for the real worls and you can further do masters and Phd in this field and do research in the respective curicullum. There are several job opportunities available in this field like Biochemist,Epidemist,Microbiologist etc. I think that they can improve teacher and student interaction and can also reduce frequency of class and labs. Also exams should be just taken once per semester and there difficulty level should be moderate

IIT kharagpur provides rich landscape for internship opportunities, facilitating both professional growth and practical application of classroom knowledge. Most of the students apply for the internship during the summer break of their semester . Student can apply for domestic or International internship based upon their convenience The Placement Cell assists students finding internship opportunities by coordinating with different companies The alumini network also help by providing insights and referrals for internship in various industries.

IIT Kharagpur consistently boasts high plcement rates with significant percentage of students securing jobs before their graduation.At IIT Kharagpur, students typically become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester i.e. third year for undergraduate program. Around 120+ Top companies visit IIT kharagpur each year.Some of them are like Google,Microsoft,Accenture , Goldman Sachs and many more . The no of offeres each year ranges from 800-1200 with 70% of student getting placed So far my current aim is get placed at campus placements but if I did not get placed then i will pursue for higher education i.e M.tech in my branch

IIT Kharagpur have diverse community with student from various backgrounds and regions that provide sense of inclusivity. IIT kharagpur have largest student run fest 'Spring Fest' which is the cultural fest of IIT Kharagur which is held in january during spring semester.the fest includes variety of events including music,dance,drama,fine arts,quizzes and many more. IIT Kharagpur also have tech fest called 'Kshitij' and sports fest 'Shaurya'.. The library of iit kharagpur holds more than 275000 printed text books and 30000 journal titles At classrooms we are provided with all the necessity facilities like switch boards, projector, speaker drinking water and clean washrooms Along with all this there are many student run socities and cells at IIT Kharagpur which helps in personal development of student. IIT Kharagpur have its own student portal 'ERP IIT KGP' at which student can check several information.

i am currently a boarder of Lal bahadur shastri hall of residence (LBS). here all the male freshers are accomodated. and are alloted triple sharing rooms.. the room has 3 fans, 3 lights, 3 wardrobes, 3 chairs, 3 study tables, three beds, a lot of windows and a balcony.. there are no attached bathrooms.. there are two common bathrooms in each wing.. about the meal quality and menu.. the quality of the meals is compromised on hygeine, the taste of the meal is decent.. the menu is not so good .. like for veg you get only one option.. 4 meals are served in one day.. breakfast: 7AM-9AM lunch 1130AM - 2PM evening snacks: 4:30PM- 6:00PM dinner : 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM for the registration process on the college reporting day.. you have to fill in the form and then you have to randomly draw a key for your room .. the accomation and mess is pretty affordable.. as regular meals, cleaning is done .. also there is 24x7 electricity and water supply.. also there are washing machines in each wi

I chose IIT Kharagpur over other colleges because of the following reasons: >IIT kharagpur is one of the oldest and most prestigious IIT in india , known for its rigorous academic standards and large alumini network >The campus is vibrant with large number of socities, cells and cultural activities that provide opportunities for personal deveelopment and wellbeing I also got opportunity to get admission in IIT Kanpur but I chose IIT Kharagpur because it has great alumini network for example Mr.Sundar Pichai The process of admission in IIT Kharagpur is as follows: First you should be eligible to aplly for the exam and then you need to apply for JEE MAINS examination and have to pass it with atleast cuttoff required to aplly for JEE ADVANCED then after qualifying JEE ADVANCED you have to apply for JOSAA COUNSELLING and opt for IIT kharagpur in the counselling then if your JEE ADVANCED rank lie under the closing rank of the specific branch , then you will get selected in that branch.

The faculty to student ratio at iit kgp is approx 1:19 It is very easy to approach your faculty member . you can write e-mail to the respective factuly and they will let you know when to meet them and also they will try there best to resolve your issue For example when i had query regarding fees I approached my faculty advisor Vinay Patel and he instantly resolved my issue and provided me solution You may find some difficulties with some of the professors like you will not be able to understand the way of their teaching like I was not able to understand my basic electronics lectures which was taught by Mr.Syamsundar de.
