- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

- The faculty here is well qualified. They deliver great lectures on the course topics.
- The environment of IIT ROORKEE is lush green and is like a heaven to live in.
Dislikes
- The food in mess can be upgraded to better. It is already good but there is slight space for improvement
- I haven't found anything else to dislike in this vollege
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees is pretty high though. I paid 1.5 lakhs for my 1st semester (including hostel charges). But if you are from economically weaker backgrounds,you can avail fee waiver. If you have your family income below 1 lakh/year, you need to pay 50 thousand only. While, if it's less than 5lakh/year. It will be 1 lakh .

- Campus culture is good and clubs make it interesting
- Sports facilities and health facilities are good

- Schedule are a little bit hectic sometimes
- Some hostel condition are not that much good

The tuition fee is nearly 1 lakh and other charges are for the mess and hostel. Colleges provide scholarships for economically poor students by reviewing their financial documents. Moreover, colleges provide on-campus placement.

- Hostel life: Hostel are not that good and mess is also after a time being boring

- Senior are helpful and quite suporting in nature.

- Lots of couple here that create unhealthy environment.
- Wifi and lan are sometimes not workingbut speed is good

Generally, the fee is constant but there is a hike in this year's price of 25000 from the year 2022. I got a scholarship by applying for the ITR certificate of both my parents. And also I got a 10000 stipend yearly for being maintaining CGPA above 7.5.

I was availing Tuition Fee Scholarship for the SC category. People whose family income is less than 4.5 LPA and have a GPA above 6 can avail of an MCM scholarship for 50000 per semester. I got an on-campus placement in a startup with 18 LPA

Semesterly scholarships were available to top 25% students of the batch whose parental income was less than 450000 annually, also sc/ST students were waived from any kind of tution fees. A basic ITR of parents is suffice to avail the said help.

There is a scholarship offered named MCM. This scholarship can be availed by those students whose parents' income is less than 5 lakh by submitting your income tax return form.
