The campus life is good. you get a lot of fun.
The best part is the facilities offered by the college in terms of infrastructure.
Some courses are really interesting. One can explore deeper if he/she wants.

Dislikes

Mess food can be improved in some hostels.
Some courses need to be updated as per time.
Hostel facilities must be urgently improved in some hostels like bathrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are vast and have a lot to learn. You have to attend lectures, practical and tutorials. Profs are highly qualified and are mostly cooperative. they guide and help. Some courses are old school. they can be improved. Exams are difficult but its not a big deal to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees depend on your family income. If its >5 Lacs u have to pay 3 Lacs yearly. You can get bank loans. You can get an internship with your capability and also a good job at the end of degree. Details about the fees are always available on website and it keeps changing with time as per updated policy.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. There are fests and programs like Thomso, Cognizance, E Summit and much more. These are awesome times. The library is HUGE. You shall get EVERYTHING that you need. Classrooms are equipped with wifi. There is an institute sports council which takes care of all sports facilities. Sports is given a lot of importance.

Hostel Facilities

There are many hostels in the campus. Rooms have a bed, two tables and a chair for each person. Apart from that you get a light, fan and a LAN port for every person. Food quality os OK. Sometimes its nice and sometimes its not.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

JEE mains and advanced is the process. you need to clear both jee main and then advanced. in my year 12th boards percentage was not a criteria due to covid. you also get reservation benefits as per Govt rule.

Oracle, Infosys, Magics and many more like in all Including GEU & GEHU around 150 companies came. Not all the technology but even finance and construction companies as for Civil not many choices are there but luckily our core jobs were provided and I am happy it happened.

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . After completing my course I,ll try to get on campus placement.

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
