BHU BCom admission 2024 is open now. The last date for registration and preference selection for admission to BCom has been extended till August 12, 2024. Interested candidates can register for BHU UG Admission 2024 on the official portal (bhucuet.samarth.edu.in). The registration fee is INR 500 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and INR 250 for SC/ST/PwBD category candidates.

BHU B.Com Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for B.Com admission at BHU, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Commerce / Economics / Maths / Computer Science / Finance / Financial Markets Management / Vocational Courses (related to commerce) as one of the subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in the concerned subject. 
  • AGE: Not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2024.

BHU B.Com Admission Criteria 2024

Candidates seeking admission to B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com (Hons) FMM in BHU have to appear for CUET (UG) 2024. They are required to opt for Section II: 1.Accountancy 2. Business Studies; Section III General Test for the admission in BHU. Candidates who will not appear Section II: 1.Accountancy 2. Business Studies; Section III General Test, will not be considered for admission.

How to Apply for BHU B.Com Admission?

The application form for UG Admission 2024 is available online at the Official Website of Banaras Hindu University. The mode of application is Online only. Candidates can follow the given steps below to fill up the application form:

  • Visit the official website - www.bhu.ac.in
  • Click on the tab “Register Yourself”
  • Fill in all the personal details which are marked mandatory.
  • After successfully logging in, Candidates need to fill up the course details
  • Upload the required academic documents after the selection of the course
  • Upload the scanned copies of the photograph and signature within the given size and format
  • After successfully submitting the form, pay the application fee by clicking on “Make Payment”
  • After paying the application fees, take the printout of the submitted application form

BHU B.Com End-Term Evaluation

The minimum qualifying percentage for every paper and also viva-voce is 35%. Passing the language paper in the Part-I exam is considered mandatory. However, it will not be counted in the general aggregate of the Results. Candidates scoring 60% and above shall be declared to have passed with First Division. Candidates securing marks above 50% and below 60% be declared to have passed with Second Division. Candidates securing marks below 50% be declared to have passed with Third Division.
