Firstly, the hostel fees at BHU vary from course to course. So all I can do is give you a rough estimate through the information I got from my sister who pursued B.Sc from BHU. Hostel Fees 1st semester stood: INR 2666 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th semester: INR 1290 (regular fee and hostel fee both) 3rd, 5th, and 7th: INR 3190 (regular fee and hostel fee) Mess Charges: INR 40 for a simple diet INR 60 for special INR 80 for chicken Usually, there are 2 diets a day and on Sundays, there is only one diet. But the Sunday meal is special so it is counted as a double diet. So the approximate price stands at INR 80-100 per day. If you skip the meal or go home then you can tell Mess Maharaj and you won’t be charged.

How is mechanical engineering at IIT (BHU)?

My cousin was a student at IIT BHU in Varanasi. She shared her experience as to why she thinks it’s not a good branch for Mechanical Engineering. The professors are under qualified here. They have little knowledge about their own subjects and teach only bookish concepts. The classes are boring. Students attend classes merely for attendance. This is because even if you score good marks, you might fail if your attendance is less than 75% in that particular subject. The numerical answers are not checked through the stepwise method. That is your method to solve has no value if your answer is wrong. Professors here are not well versed with the relative grading system. This affects the CGPA of many students. Placements are mediocre here. Only non core sectors like coding and analytics get placement opportunities. The salaries offered are also very low. Labs are not equipped with modern tools. The students get no practical exposure. The conclusion from her experience was that the professors in Mechanical Engineering at Varanasi IIT are bringing down the results of students terribly.

How good it is to do MBA from faculty of commerce BHU?

At BHU, MBA is a good option as it provides a lot of quality placement opportunities. But your own efforts to acquire knowledge of the corporate world matter the most. You cannot just complete a course and expect to be placed at an MNC. You have to be ambitious and put in maximum effort. What is the value of doing BHU BSc Math Honours?

My sister’s friend could not score a good rank in engineering but was lucky enough to get a seat in BHU UET for Maths Hons. She shared her experience that this was the best decision of her life as she felt unique. She made a lot of memories and befriended many talented people. She lived her college life to her fullest extent. From hostels to backlogs, she experienced all the fun. BHU FOC is very affordable not just the course fees but even the hostel fees is very affordable.

Only for FOC , the classes can get very irregular sometimes.

The fees for regular seat at BHU Faculty of commerce for bcom (hons) is ?2300 for first year, ?1150 per semester. Yes ,that is all you have to pay for your admission and course in first year in regular seat , I think the amount increases only a little bit in next year but is still very very affordable. Though ,the fees for paid seat is ?16000 approx.

Sometimes exam schedules are very late and we get to know about that on the day of exam itself.

My college offer 2 courses BCom Hons and Bcom Hons in FMM . BCom fees is 2500 per Semester and FMM is 16000 per sem. Because Fmm is a special course which further offer special Benefits like in placements etc..

The class timings are not regular and keeps on changing.

The fees for the specialised course of BCom honours financial Market management if 33000 which includes the development fees and all other required fees. The fee for regular b.com honours is 2300. The scholarship is generally available for Uttar Pradesh students however the ST SC students do get a concussion in the fees.

Review of Faculty of commerce, B.H.U.

The curriculum of BHU is more theoretically inclined and lacks practical aspect. My department doesn't offer any internship opportunities neither we were given any group projects or any research work during our graduation.

The fee for different courses may vary; mine was approximately 2000/yr, which we must pay in 2 installments. The hostel fee is about 6500 a year, and at the time of admission, we must pay a caution money of around 2000, which is refundable after your graduation.

•In Banaras Hindu University the per year fee is around 2,500 to 3,000( Regular fees) and also BHU offer paid seat to their students if their exam marks is low. • The tution fees for all categories is similar. • The amount of scholarship was provided by the State Government(Up) but condition is student is resident of Uttar Pradesh and also the students who is not a resident of Uttar Pradesh and their percentage of 12th is more than 75% then they are eligible for filling NSP( National schlorship policy).
