VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

College life is pretty chilled in VIT as one can enjoy and do whatever they want to do. There are gyms, stadium, tennis court, badminton courts inside the campus. There is very minimal tolerance for the Public Display of Affection in the College. Otherwise, the college provides pretty much all the facilities required for the overall development of an individual. Vellore as a city is not that advanced but you will pretty much get everything you need in or around campus. There are pretty good tourist places nearby campus like Pondicherry, Ooty, Coorg, Bangalore, Mysore, Kodaikanal, etc.. One can enjoy these places over long weekends and be back in time for college. College is pretty much connected by rail and road network though air link is still missing. My experience during my time has been pretty good and the life has been memorable.

Free wifi for students. A/C labs and good infrastructure. Class timings will be based on the slot selected by the student. Project-based learning.

Admission to VIT is conducted on a merit-based through its own online entrance exam called the Vellore Institute of Technology engineering. Entrance examination (VITEEE). and through management quota also. Nearly 2 lakh students appeared for the entrance test every year. At present, there is a total of 4900 seats available for candidates at VIT University. In the offline mode of application, the applicants can get the application form from any nearby post office or sales counter. The applicants will have to send did duly filled application form to the college address.

VITEEE is the exam I appeared for and I got a rank of 5000. I also heard initially that vit is the best college and all students get placed so it made me think that if I want to shine in my career vit is the best as it has good facilities along with research and placement opportunities. Thus I choose vit.

Management aims only at extorting a good amount of money, and they support only studies Other activities are not promoted as much, only students have to go way overboard to get things done, even if it's as basic as hostel mess food.

Overall good college. The facilities are excellent and the campus is beautiful. Vit is truly a home away from home

Everything is good. Just that everything needs money and there are lots of fines and unnecessary strict rules in the hostel.

I have given the VITEEE entrance exam and my rank was around 40,000. I opted for VIT because of its past placement record and its goodwill. The admission process was based on an Online application form.

Average college, not as per my expectations. There is a lot of distance between buildings due to which a lot of energy and time is wasted. Faculty, Hostel, Mess food, Locality - these areas needed a lot of improvement.

Well for me it's more than a college because it taught me how to face the problem and go through it and I could say that my future will be great. Everything in college is very expensive.
