there is a category fees system in vit vellore in which according to your viteee exam rank you will be alloted category with fees i am a category 4 student my annual tution fees is 445000 with 3000 rupee caution deposit which is refundable and hostel fees is 154500 for 4 bed ac room with veg mess along with 15000 which is refundable and another 15000 which is non refundable and also they are one time fees . as far as i heard from seniors tution fees remains constant but only hostel and mess fees increses slightly @4-5 percent per annum if you get <100 rank in vitee exam you are exempted to pay tutuin fees and there are also some need based scholerships i cannot avail it because my family income is very good enough

The fee structure depends on the rank cutoff that you got through the entrance examination. There are many different scholarships based on different fields. It varies on the selected course. Scholarships avails student to reduce their college fees in form of concessions. Our college provides good jobs and placements. The average package for my particular course is 8LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee varies from 2lpa to 5lpa depending on ur category, which will be decided based on your performance in the VITEEE examination. There are 5 categories with different course fees. I am not very sure about scholarships, but the top few performers in VITEEE get some. Also, board toppers have no course fees. And. there is no much Financial Assistance in college, in contrast, you have to pay a lot of extra money to use different facilities in college. Most of the students here are AMBANIS and ADANIS, or at least VIT treats students that way while demanding money at every step. Just private college things ig. :)

The fee you pay is based on the rank you get in the VITEEE examination, which they call CATEGORY. People with the best ranks get category 1 wherein they need to pay approximately 2 LPA which increases gradually to 7 LPA with an increase in categories. VIT also provides financial assistance to the needy students if they are academically sound.

Fees and Financial Aid:

They are 5 categories in the university.if you get seat in category 1 you need to pay 195000 per year. Category 2-300000,category 3-400000 category 4-400000.category 5-500000.They won't hike fees after joining in university.there will be scholarships to the people who is having EWS certificate. Vit is one of the best university. I recommend you to join in the university .
