- Girls to boys ratio is very less especially in branches like civil and mechanical.However, it is improving right now due to 10% reservation for girls in IITs. ~ Akaash R, B.Tech

- The campus is situated inside a national park with deers, making it a unique and beautiful environment to study in
- The library is really good and provides opportunities to study with other people.
- The sports facilities are also quite good, providing students with opportunities for physical activity.

- The food is not that good, which can be a major issue for students who are looking for quality meals.
- The distance between the hostels and classrooms is huge, which can make it difficult to travel on foot, and a cycle or other transportation options are necessary.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is designed to provide students with relevant and important subjects, such as modern app development, Python, and basics of data science, as well as mathematics and statistics lectures with Java and DSA. Actually, this course is self-paced so Students start getting campus placements after completing at least one diploma, but those who take all the courses available for the semester can get campus placement from the 4th semester, actually, this course started recently and no further placements and package details are available yet.

From the 6th semester, students got eligible for placement. Google, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Amazon, etc like big companies come for placement.100% placement. I plan to get into any one of the companies after completing my degree.

1. Physics department is well equipped and one of the strongest in our country, natural choice for pursuing my desired branch 2. Well connected to Ahmedabad through a flight, the campus is in close proximity to the airport as well as to hangout spots like malls etc Admission process is easily available online.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.
The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.
Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.

The online Data Science program at IIT Madras is a great opportunity for someone who can not attend regular college because of financial constraints, illness, or other reasons. The online BS in Data Science and Application allows students to gain knowledge of this field from one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.
The online lectures are taught by experienced faculty members from IITM. What I found most interesting was the professors' distinct approach to teaching. The students are routinely assisted by committed and supportive staff.
