- There is a free environment where girls and boys are treated equally.
- Lots of club activities are provided and even outdoor activities too.
Dislikes
- Food is not great in mess as we all can relate that it won't be same as oru mother's cooking .
Placement Experience:
There are plenty of placement opportunities provided by the college. Amet is the only college around here that has the placement opportunities right from the beginning. And if in case you are not placed in any company even the completion of the course the college management take the initiative to make us get placed by making us attend the upcoming interview.

- Our clg used to have a friendly facilities.. though it is a maritime training academy some faculties will give more importance in our discipline
Dislikes
- There is no any kind of dislikes in my clg period ...we used to enjoy our day
- The only thing is we have to stay in hostel because this is a semi regiment course

Placement Experience:
Campus placement will be offered at first' year itself
Student's will high pcm and basic of 12std will be helpful to get placed in that placement itself
Other than tat every 1 yr we will be having campus placement where higher cgpa students will get first priority and they will be able to attend the interview

- Faculty behavior is good. They always help you in clearing your concept

- Food which they provide that is satisfactory
Placement Experience:
In marine college company can come from 1st year. It depends upon their requirement. But generally company comes mostly for 3rd and 4th year students.
If you will study hard then you will get placed. Just keep your subject knowledge clear.

- The surrounding of the campus , the view
- We directly get a beach view from our hostel
- The connectivity of the roads and medical aids is available
Dislikes
- The food , I did not like the food as I am a North Indian
- The vocabulary and language of the professor is mostly Tamil
- There are lots of issue with language ..
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course relevance according to the real life world is 6/10 because there are many things which we are thought but none of them will be in use for us in the professional world , the course is difficult because of the curriculum is very huge, if there would've been. More of practical subjects then it would benefit the students more

- Infrastructure of AMET University is good.
- Faculties are so kind and always available for doubts sessions.
Dislikes
- Food is not good in my university, I m from North India so, I m having difficulty to cope up with that food.
- Regular swimming classes are not there .

In my university they are providing the pre placement, in which you get placement in your first year itself, here get company is not a big issue , placement records of AMET University are too good as compared to other universities.

- Proper discipline activity for all cadets
- Nice more than 40 clubs and sports area are there
- Good facility and teaching in all classes and also in sports and there is a ship in campus for final year

- Food is slightly not good in Amet University
- In this Amet University cleanliness is slightly not good
- The Amet University is too strict for students welfare and decipline

After admission it self the students are eligible for placement opportunity and there is lot of company nearly more than 60 company and they are giving package from 8 lakh per annum to max.the percent of students got placed is nearly 90 and my plan to become chief engineer and make money

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is a good one by which we can join the merchant navy.
The company in which you are selected is depend on you and your academic as well as CGPA( Cumulative Grade Point Average) which is most important in recent times .

- This is one of good college to pursue your marine related course, And this DG approved college.
- The faculties are very friendly, helpful and they are easy to approach to clear your doubts.
- And it has a decent atmosphere to pursue your studies.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities at amet are not up to the expected standards, need to improve their amenities provided to students.
- Need to enhance their bus facilities. The buses or not air conditioned. They need to increase the quality of their vehicle.
Placement Experience:
From completing second year of studies students are will sent to intership. The industrial visit will be visit as per students intrests and demand. But the placement will conduct only during your Eigth semester of you course. Top ship construction companies and designing companies are come for the placement, with and Average salary package of 100000 - 300000\- initially. In this atleast Fifty percentage of students get placed.

- Management of amet University is good where they are not doing partiality.
- Our faculties are the best faculties. We got alot more inspiration from them. Specially our DSW .DR RAM KUMAR SIR IS BEST

- Mosquito preventative should be added more
- They should change COE OF EXAMINATION because he is not at all good talker. He is very rude
- They should change the dishes from south Indian to North Indian

No, our college placement department Is really working very hard to give everyone placement after the completion of our all semester also. And many Maersk line, synergy, dynacom, bergebulk, fleet management used to talk to many of our cadets

Many companies visit amet for placement like mearsk,vships ,Kline,fleet etc and during 6th sem cadets will get chance In placement interview and nearly 80% of people get placement from college. And many people get placement even in 1st year in mearsk
