Its is Good as by my side.. but be friendly with everyone and every faculties and always try to be active in faculties clss and dont abset... Per sem 2 monthly exam and that is your internal and one model exam then your emd sem exam.

The teaching methodology of the faculties.

The faculties are well experienced and knowledgeable in maritime sector. The exams are taken once in every 1-2 months with marking scheme in a way which habituate the students for maritime examination further in their career.

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

As a student at AMET University, the faculty-to-student ratio is decent, allowing good interaction. Most faculty members are approachable and supportive, making it easy to clarify doubts. I especially liked Prof. Ramesh Kumar for his clear teaching and practical approach, and Dr. Meena for her mentorship. Some faculty could improve in communication and engagement, but overall, most are dedicated. There are two main exams each semester—internal and end-semester—which are moderately challenging. Few students fail if they stay consistent. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, focusing on practical skills, though occasional updates would help keep it aligned with industry trends.

Dislikes

The teachers here are not serious while correcting the answer sheets. They just randomly put marks even without signing it properly.

The teachers are rude to the students frequently except two female staffs. Others actions and behaviour is so demotivating and discouraging. We need teachers not experienced businessmens to teach us. Experience is good for knowing and for knowledge. We can't write experience as theory. When the teacher shares experiences, it's about how we need to perform at that particular situation,not about this is to be written in the theory Sheet.

Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

Exam system is : CAT 1, CAT 2, MODEL EXAMINATION, END SEMESTER EXAMINATION. CAT1 &CAT2 is for 50marks each and MODEL & END SEMESTER EXAMINATION is for 100 marks each. Subject teacher of the concerned subject will not correct the papers, instead of that other faculty will correct the paper, and then the marking differs for each person to each person. This is one of the reasons why I scored less marks. Shameem Ma'am ( Financial accounting and Research methodology) and MEENAKSHI Ma'am ( Logistic management) they are the one and only finest faculty with friendly behaviour and personal understanding. Personally or professionally they are best in both. Their teaching is just top notch.

Faculties are knowledgeable and they are giving the as the best for the teaching , Our beloved class teacher DR. shameem is the best faculty and a sweet too . In this semester we have about 7 papers and the port related papers are we are facing difficulties and we need a proper guidance.

About the education hub

The faculty are too friendly and the way they behave with the students are too good the way they help us is extraordinary. I like every faculty there is no disliked in the faculty The exam here are little bit tough

The faculties are very supportive to the students and help us with any doubts and clear it without any hesitations. There are two continuous assessment test conducted in each semester, one model exam and then the semester exams. The course is very relevant to the curriculum.
