Faculty

The faculty at SVIT were overall supportive especially guiding students through projects and certification . The course structure was balanced between core and specialization topics in cyber security .The exam and marking system was fair and followed the standard JNTU pattern. Honesty and truth

Faculty is provided for the course is good . There are 4-5 faculty for each course . All faculty are advanced and they teach us in easy and understandable way. The classes for the course will be starting from the first year itself . They will be teaching every subject in the course and will be preparing us for the placement for the starting year itself. We have 4 mids and 2 sem for every year. The pattern is 60 percent for internal and 40 for the external. The faculty will provide important questions for the exam by making us easier to pass the examination.

Placement Experience

I say placement is good in our course . Where our hold is bringing different companies for placement. The new thing that our hod did is not depending on percentage , he is conducting entrace exam and giving equal opportunity for all the students. The highest package is 22 lakhs and the minimum is 7-8 lakhs. My plans if get a job I will Go for the job or else our college is providing studies in aboard by providing scholarships .

A mixture of pleasent and bizzare experiences

Faculty to student ratio is like 1 to 70. Majority of the faculty being very friendly but some of them very rude and cruel ..being abusive on the students. as a first year liked faculties like Arpita Majumder and Ranjan Dutta for their immense support and upliftment nature. Just hated faculties like debyaduti and Indranil dey assistant prof. In the electrical department is very abusive and very biased towards the girls. Exams are 3 internal exams and end sem exams.. moderate .. very few fail to clear the exam. Course curriculum is not relevant in the first year

Tech workshop and events happen every month and often.. but a huge lack of cultural events and even fests ..no freshers is given in the college which is very disappointment for the freshers . Sports facilities are not very promising. Students run societies and clubs are there and they do a good job by organising several events across the calendar.

In the 1st year I have paid 80000 thousand has tution fee and 65 thousand for hostel fee, after completion of 1st year we have changed the hostel then the management has decreased the fee now I am paying 62500 for hostel and tution fee is same 80000. Only hostel fee may increase due to the market expenses

The faculty who were in the university is minimum completed the PhD all are assistant professor and the professors. The teaching is in both tamil and english as we are mixed of telugu and tamil students. Faculty is very strict during the internal exams

The campus is very lively as there are events almost everyday. From hackathons to photography workshops to events like Taranga all happen here. The library has a lot of famous books and if requested they will order the book needed for that course, The classrooms are digitalized, AC lecture halls with seating capacity of 200+ students. There are clubs for all the aspects.

As I have passed my KCET exam and secured a ranking eligible by Dayananda Sagar University. My fees in 1st year including all the fees was 1,32,000 approx. In second year, it decreased to 1,27,300 approx. The fees includes the following:- The skill and development fee for me is 21,000. Miscellaneous Fee for me is 30,610. Tution Fee is 65,964. Examination Fee is 10,000.

Best College In Chennai

Campus life has been vibrant and engaging with numerous opportunities for social interaction, extracurricular activities and personal growth. The college hosts annual cultural - Instincts and technical fest - Invente in March and October respectively. The library is well stacked with academic books research journal and digital resources ensuring access to study materials. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology including smart boards projectors and wifi enhancing the learning experience. It has its own football ground and cricket stadium beside all the indoor games. Students clubs such as the coding club, Drama society and robotics club and other clubs totalling to 21 clubs are there in the college boosting peer learning and networking.

The faculty to student ratio is very healthy. Each faculty literally knows about you and have healthy interaction with them regarding all the issues and problems a student is facing. They have mentors for each student and they are very much approachable. All the faculty are experts in their field. There are 2 continuous internal assessments. Midsemester is there and then there is endsem examinations as everywhere else. The course curriculum is too the needs as per the industry and there is nothing missing as far as the course you have choosen to be true.

The College I have been Struggling

I have been paying 1,35,000 rupees as tuition fee every year and sem exam fee of 1400 rupees.We don't have any scholarship provided by the college.mostly the fee will be based on the admission time and the marks in previous board exams.My other friends are paying fee of nearly 2 lakhs and 1.8 lakhs.

Faculty interaction is very good but the ratio lacks behind.sometimes one faculty has to teach more than one subject which might lags in teaching effectively.The exam system is very simple we have an total internal marks of 60 and external sem exam of 40 marks.mid exams are of 15 .

Every year sports is held inter and intra college which is a great recreation There are number of sports and extra curricular activities all around the year and infact there are a number of clubs one can volunteer into. overall the student life is amazing.

Cybersecurity sounded extremely fascinating to me, and when i heard about it and the things it consisted of, i wanted to give this a try and i really like how my journey is going on. The curriculum surely prepares you for real world applications, but the areas for improvement in the courses like be more real time projects but as we're in the first year, we're making our base stronger for the upcoming events to attend. I personally like the teaching style and methods of the teacher, how they both theoretically and practically show us the things and help us grow our knowledge by showing us real life examples. I have only given the 1st Semester by now and Unit test occur at a frequency of 1-2 months gap and then after 1 month, the actual Semester exams occur. The question difficultly is moderate, if one has truly studied, then they can surely score a decent grade.

technical event is "Invente" which happen in every year in June to promote among students and the annual event is "Instincts" which happen every year in March.. there are many books around 600 which even consists of journals in library.. On every occasion they conduct workshops based on our course to promote healthy conversation about the cyber to students so that they get awareness about it.. Sports infrastructure is also good which comprises of synethetic badminton court,indoor basketball court,volleyboll court and tennis court offering variety of sport to students in which they are interested in.. There is club named business club which is being run by students and they help students to know about the business how to make it in life and have a real lasting impact in our career

the faculty's approach towards the students is quite good and they ask whether are we understanding the classes or not and if we have any doubt they clarify it quite efficiently.. I liked the physics faculty as the sir's teaching is excellent and he explains everything in a amazing way.. There is no particular faculty that i disliked as all the teachers put in their best efforts to make sure that children understands the cl;ass in a best possible way.. There are 6 exams in my sem each exam range based on their difficulty level but some exams are quite lengthy and difficult.. Many pass the exams but there is rare sight that students fail the exam that is 2 out 70.. Course which they are teaching us is quite relatable to the curriculum

I have been studying here for about 6 months and there has never been a shortage of faculty. The teachers are usually very good with the exception of a few ones. The faculty is very approachable. They can be pretty strict which is nice but some of them are straight annoying or boring and doesnt know the topic their are teaching. Favorite faculty member is kurunandan sir whereas the least favorite is ARG menon. Each semester has 2 main exams, the mid sems for 50 marks and the end sems for 100 and then theres 2 tests for 15 marks each which goes for internals. Most subjects are split into 60 percent marks for internals and 40 percent for endsem exams. The course is split in 8 semesters where the last 2 semesters you can work or go for an internship or go abroad with the exchange programs provided by the college. More students pass the courses while only a handful manage to fail

There are way too many programs held at amrita per year to name them all. But the biggest of them all is vidyut. Matter of fact it is going on to happen this may on 22nd 23rd and 24th. There are a huge collections of books and research papers in the library while having an even more vast library in their E-library. The classes are well equipped with 2 plugs for each table and around 12 plus on each row and around 24 fans in a class and a huge white board and a benq projector. Sports events are held pretty often with one main sports even per year in which first years 2nd years 3rd years and 4th years and then masters students compete against each other. There are an unnatural amount of clubs with a few major clubs such as bi0s, amfoss etc. Where bi0s is not only well known in the country but well known across the world

My dream is to be a well ethical hacker so i choosed this stream and this university is among top best university in india and it have a great review on hacking course and this course start from 2nd year onwords and the there is no difficulties as all depends upon hard work and consistency and we have 7 subject each subject is considered 1 hrs teaching time and we have short and lunch break in between and class star's from 8:00 am to till 4:00 pm after the class we have a study hours in hostel as we complete the given works of each days and we have 3 labs for 3 subjects

exploring excellence

faculty to student ratio is around 1:70 on average and the faculty and student relations mostly depends upon the the performance and the behaviour of the students and there is no biasness observed , the faculty are really good and well educated and most of them are or have done thier doctarate on their respected feild and have the industry lead knowladge , but the once only who are older faculties not the new ones, some of the faciulties do target students but overall its a good experience. On my experince the best faculty over which i came across is Mr. Pramod sir faculty electrical engineering he is a master in his feild and its like if i attend his lecture i remeber all the concepts its like it get inbuit on your mind he is good in his stuff and also explains every topic very nicely. cant disclose the name of the faulties which i dont like but the new faculty in the physics branch she is assistant professor in physics and she is not good in her stuff she teches by reading straight by the book and also if the student asks a doubts she says learn and tell me tommorow because even i dont know you can teach the whole class and the doubt remains as doubt for ever. there are a lot of exams every saturday there is one weekly exam every saturday and which makes your schedule very hecktic and then there is a sessional exam every 2 week and then Pre university exam once each sem mostly, dificulty is overall medium and hard , can be easy based upon how and what all you have learned.

yearly fees is around 1.52 lakhs per annum for all CSE and IT branches and 1.35 for other branches, this includes all fees and there are scholarships around 30k for 90+ in boards or jee in percentage (P,C,M), and if getting admission by UPTAC councelling fee's goes down to 50k a year and no extra other costs . Exam fees for both semister is 7500.Their is a scholarship fo up student in which they get 50k amount from up govt. uniform fee-6600. admission fee - 1000. fee for other branches : 1. btech civil-1.35 lakhs. 2. mechanical-1.35 lakhs. and for cse branch the fee is alomost same 1.51lakhs. total fee for entire btech program can range from 2.70 lakhs to 5.70lakhs depending upon the specialization and duration of course.
