MITS is famous for placements

in first year all branches have common subjects even includes physics chemistry and also labs which are really interesting ,you get to do practical stuff which your school has not taught you.after you enter second year you get to see lot of subjects of your branch and few are really boring and useless.coming to exam patter each sem is 5 months after first two months first mid then after two months 2nd mid then end sem exam and no need to worry you can clear exams easily by studying one or two days before.

to be honest present 2025 and past 2024 students are struggling to place as IT market has no projects at all and many lafoffs out there but my super seniors got placed in many companies but now few companies are coming to hire and hiring less students,i joined here as getting placed easy here but situation is same everywhere no one getting into IT company easily now a days.well the average package is 4lpa and companies are like accenture cognizant LTMindTree and other few companies but dont expect product based

i am in CSE(cyber security) and my fees is 170000/- per annum for management quota for convener quota fee is 70000 and same for all branches and same fee is paid all four years no increments will be there but for new joiner it may change and they have to pay the same.coming to management quota only core CSE has high fee structure than other departments like ece,eee,ai,ml,cyber.also in each semester you have to pay exam fees

in each year second semester many fest are conducted its like you can enjoy every second sem of each year .every department conducts their fest and anyone can participate and also there is a big fest named ASHV conducted each year for two days and we get to see celebreties and also many dance singer performances. if it is about sports they are not encouraged much but before each ashv sports are held in college like crickect running race badminton tennis and other.the one thing i love in college is kaizen club which is held on every thursday where everone can talk on any topics and simple games are conducted so this is the place where you can overcome your stage fear and build network

as MITS is near to my hometown and college is famous for placements so i joined here and i didnt apply for other colleges and most of them near this college prefer MITS only as it make you job ready.coming to admission process i joined through management quota and its simple you have to come to college and submit your documents and if student got seat in convener then he/she is alloted a date on that day they should visit and submit respective documents

most of the faculty are well educated but the thing is same as other colleges faculty comes to class and project ppt and share theoratical knowledge but few of them explains in nice way and also help you in studies and career growth like a friend.coming to course structure to be honest i dont like my course structure and few subjects in it are not much useful in real life and it is same in other colleges.

MITS has gym and timing is 4-6pm evening and also library which has dcent interior and there is a canteen but food is just average and i often get my food from home.coming to hostles and pgs food is just average and in some pgs its worse so most of them take rooms for rent and make food by themselves. nearby college there are many restaurants so you can hangout with your friends and also can enjoy night life
