Faculty

The Faculty members in our college play an essential role in shaping our academic and personal growth.vthe faculty to student ratio in a 'SHUATS' college is around 1:15 to 1:20. Professors and teaching assistants are open to discussing about study and projects. Each 8 semester we have to focus on our exam and few students fail in 1/2 subjects , because of their irresponsibility, for not submitting practical or test or due to lack of attendeces.

Course Curriculum Overview

This department of Agricultural engineering has a wide range of scope, as we can see in today's world most the things have been conquered by AI but there's one field where AI would step back is the farm field. Here manual presence is very much needed and India produces a lot of things from farm. So combining science and technology with manual labour would benefit a lot

Fees and Financial Aid

Having said, The fees structure justifies some facilities, while some not. Per semester the fees is around 45-50k for day scholars, and 65k+ for the hostellers. The tution fees remains the same for all students, except for the students who are hostellers, as mentioned before. There are special reservations for the SC/ST students, and according to my information, the fees for them is only 5k. The scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit, and for the sports merit, we have to complete the many levels, like attaining, college color and college merit, then we can apply for university merit. There are scarce scholarships for sportspersons, while the academic merit, there are two scholarships offered, once in 1st year, and other one in 3rd year. Other scholarships are rewarded on the basis of economic status, Gender specifications and other societal factors.

Internships Opportunities

The college offers us internships in 7th semester, many companies like Punjab remote sensing centre, CIPHET,Tafe, Merado, Verka, and many companies have tie ups with college. Some internships are paid while mostly are not. The roles are decided by the companies only, so mostly entry level roles like assisting the seniors or working on a common projects are given. The duration for the internship is around 2 months, and it is considered mandatory, but it has only S/US grade, no marks are alloted for it.

Faculty

The course was not a difficult one nor an easy one, depends upon our hard work and seriousness towards our studies. We usually took 6 classes in 1 day. Classes start at 9:30a.m and get over at 2:30p.m. We got one Lunch Break which is 30 minutes only. The teachers usually use PowerPoint method, they use white boards as well. Sometimes, they show us videos or movies which are related to our studies. We often have presentation or group discussions too. I admire all our faculties, they were all nice and good at Political Science. The faculty I admire the most was Sir Tka. He teaches really well and is never arrogant to the students, he is very understanding and very good at his profession. We have to score 80% attendence every semester in each paper to be able to sit for examinations. If we are not able to fulfill the attendance criteria, they sometimes pardon those who have genuine reasons, but if not they are not able to sit for examinations.

Campus Life

There is a stadium, CCF , library , gym,Gandhi halls and many mini auditoriums in our university. The campus area is around 1200 acres. There are many food points in our campus and a university hospital for medical emergencies. My college experience is very amazing. There are many societies clubs for students to get involve in extra curricular activities. Engineering and technology society conducted a 3 day fest known as Colosseum which includes celebrity night , dj night and band warz followed by many fun and technical events . Faculty

The faculty to student ratio here is 15:1. Their relationship with student is very friendly. They helps you all the time not only in studies but also in other life problems you can reach them any time in day. So, there is this mrigendra sir in mechanical department he is very friendly and helps students a lot in all possible ways. When i was new here he helped ne alot. There are many faculty members here who help students even director and HOD are very helpfull they always takes the student feedback whenever they meet. So mainly there are three internals, one practical and one external exams is taken here. The internal exams are known as class test and it is of 10 marks which is very easy it consist of 2 mcqs and 4 long answer question in which you have to attempt 2 question and in the externa exam 20 mcqs of 1 marks each comes and 2 long answer question from a unit comes from which you have to answer 1 question like that 10 long answer questions comes in external exams. Taking about the result, it is very good here maximum student gets a good grade only few which are dumb gets fail to clear the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is to be paid in 3 terms in a semester before semester exam and the fees is 60000 per semester so the total college fees becomes 120000. The hostel fees is 45000 per year which is also paid in two terms. Registration fees is 5000 which you have to pay at the time of admission. Scolarship is given on the basis of percentage you scored in class 12th. Also, fees is accepted from the scholarship given by uttar pradesh governmemnt the college faculty helps alot in submission or filling of scolarship forms. A friend of mine who belongs to sc quota study here completely free cause all his fees is paid by uttar pradesh government

Campus Life

There are a few functions that happen in a year like annual functions, Farewell, Freshers and Ganpati festivals. There is 1 library in college that has a vast book stock but there is a reading hall in which books are funded by alumni of college on your needs and demands. Classrooms are well equipped with smart class technology and well-furnished AC classrooms. There are several intercollege tournaments and there is an annual sports meet there. We have no clubs but students do social welfare through NSS and it's necessary to join NSS for the first 3 semesters..

Faculty

Faculty are too friendly to students and can be approached anytime for any problems. The Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:10. Faculties like Kapil Mandaloi, and Jogunari Sravan Kumar are too approachable for any problem. they make comfortable students like a family. There are 2 semester each year and in each semester's exams are segregated to mid-term exam, Viva and end-term exams. Papers are moderate but 20-30% of students fail to clear exam .
