SHUATS offers various scholarships to bonafide students of the varsity, who have a good extraordinary academic record and belong to a weaker socio-economic background. SHUATS-DU work scholarship: SHUATS provides financial assistance to students as an “Earn While Learning Scheme” where students can study while working for SHUATS. Selected UG and PG students are paid INR 25 per hour. The maximum earning of a student per month is INR 1000. Students are required to work for a minimum of 40 hours per month.
Yeshu Darbar Scholarship: These scholarships are available only to poor and needy Christian students.

AGRICULTURAL PIONEER INSTITUTE

My college is agricultural centric has been always a pioneer in research and development institutes in the agricultural field. The faculties available to us have done their Phd from reputed universities.
The crop research feild CRF is most tedious and offers a vast land area for feild knowledge for the students who love an more hands on practical knowledge.
The college offers a central library which is open 24 x 7 and is well equipped with newly published for all the courses . It has central AC and has a digital library as well.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure seems ancient
The hostels need a makeover for attracting the crowd

What does student says about course

The location of my college is in Allahabad which has GI tag for Allahabadi safeda Guava which is of interest to me as a keen student of horticultural science. After each semester we are encouraged to go for training in different sectors of agricultural feild to learn as much as we can about them.

Internship opportunity provided by the college

There are no direct internships but training camps and placements for good companies and industrial tycoons in the feild of agriculture. You can expect a nice job just after graduation and be well of with it.

Placement provided by the college , average and highest package

After 6 semesters the placement and training caps start for companies like amul and agricorps etc. The average package is 4 LPA and highet packages is 1Cr LPA. After i get my degree i will be applying for my masters from abroad.

Yearly fees structure of the college

Fees for my course is paid semester wise with an amount of 56000 Rs only, this is applicable for rest of 7 semesters however when you apply you have to pay Rs1000 only as registration fee and after than for the first semester fee payment you have to pay 65000 that includes mess security fee , hostel security fee and exam fee .

What does student says about campus

The campus is secure and well equipped with state of art technologies to keep the students in touch with the recent developments in the agricultural feild . There are so many clubs for student exposures which have so many talented individuals.

Hostel facilities provided by the college

I stay in IH hostel which has a fee of 36000 qnd 3000 kes fee for veg and 3500 fee for non veg food. The food quality is good and hygienic. The region is done free of charge at the time of admission. Well enough.

Student views on the faculty and exams

The faculty ratio is 1:35. The teachers are really friendly and helpful and treat every student equally which is very uncommon. There are periodic tests and one end sem test. The course is so well des8gned that the passing student ratio is very high.

This college has a reputation for being a pioneer in this field for 112 years and still is one the top institutes to win awards and grants . As far as i have learned so much about the reputation of my university is enough to write books upon.

Night Life

There are so many cafes and restaurant with gyms in the vicinity as well within a 1 KM range . There are libraries and outsides PGs and hostels as well which are well secure and safe for students. The night life is very attractive here.

campus life a mix of cultural and academic events keeps students engaged.

Dislikes

Workload can be overwhelming at times.
The university enforces a 75% attendance rule, which some find restrictive.

Admission:

Galgotia College applied for and we got a confirmed admission form but we choose a because SHUATS is more affordable piece and compared to other private universities versus of a reasonable tuition fees. In this college is nearby my hometown that's why I choose this college. My college eligibility criteria candidate must have to 10 + 2 with physics chemistry in maths and minimum percentage required may to apply depending on the course. Exam accepted First is SHUATS entrance exam( could conduct by University) And seconds JEE main( widely accepted for engineering admission) and third is a Cuet pg (for undergraduate admission in the various disciplines) Venkata score very each year based on competition and the seat availability.

Unnecessary works which are not supposed to give the students but they still give to the students.

At that time when i took admission, this is the only big institute and college i know for paramedical course. And i didn't applied in any other college. No i didn't got any rejection from any college. Admission procedure was simple.. as take form and fill it. Then submit in the registrar office. After some time they conduct an entrance exam and they select students as they perform.

I choose SHUATS, college Allahabad (prayagraj). SHUATS focus on Strong Agriculture, a curriculum tailored to agriculture engineering with a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training. The college provides well-equipped labs, and experimental farms.

Admission:

I applied to TNEU aka Anna University and I got confirmed admission but it wasn't the college i wanted to study in so I preferred this college as it was a Christian college. No i didn't get rejected from any other colleges but I tried some other colleges whose fees was too high for me to afford. Namely VIT and Karunya University. The admission process is simple, there's an exam conducted by the college and you'll be able to select courses according to your rank. My rank was pretty high, so I was able to select the course that I wanted to pursue. I'm not very sure about the cutoff but I think it's around 70 for highly demanding courses like agriculture and biotechnology. And around 50 for Civil and Computer Science Engineering. The admission process was simple and efficient.

The college is very good and well maintain.The campus is very beautiful Full of green environment.Proper road facility.Gardens.Proper hostel for both girls and boys. Also all shops are available inside the campus
The quality of infrastructure is basically from Britishers times..Vry beautiful and attractive

Dislikes

And outsiders should not be able to come inside the campus if they not belong to our university
But i can say that the gaurds should be strict at night for all the gates of campus
I dont think there is any disliked for our college

Admission:

As i choose this college over the others is only because high reputation from 130 years. I here the 3rd Generation as a student of college. I never applied for any other college. Its my personal and family decision to take admission at Shuats

The senior junior relationship here is quite healthy.
The lush greenery environment of college. I love it.

Dislikes

The laid back environment of college. Feels like everything is just doing fine.

Less active clubs. There is only sports and photography club is active Little.
