BTech CS or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science is a 4 year undergraduate engineering degree that deals with the development and designing of computer software and computer technologies. BTech Computer Science Admission Process 2025

BTech Computer Science Admission process is similar to other BTech Specializations. Students need to clear BTech entrance exams and the college largely depends on the score in the entrance exam.

The steps for entrance-based admission are as follows:

Online Registration: Students must register for the entrance exam by providing their email address, mobile number, and password, after which they will be assigned a login id.
Application form completion: After creating a login id, candidates must complete the online application form by providing personal and academic information.
Uploading of Documents: For admission to BTech Computer Science, the majority of institutes and universities in India use an entrance-based admission process. Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of btech student is 90000. The college will provide you some scholarship on the basis of percentege of 12 th class like 25 percent fees relaxation for 85 or above percent you have get in class 12 . The college will take you registration fees and admission fees upto 5000.

There is annually taken some functions like sports activities between different courses . Sports activities include cricket, table tennis, football, kho-kho, volleyball and more. The library facility is available also there.

The course curriculum according to me was good and there are claims why to follow an old regime but the gate syllabus is also the same so why gate is following that, so the overall needs to change rather than one university.

Minimum criteria for a faculty was phd holder and the faculty have s good experience and knowledge, course follows the guidelines under AKTU and marking scheme is step by step. The labs of different kinds were provided.

Clubs of kiet are good In kiet all the types of clubs are there culture club technical club and movies club also and if you think about campus life so to be honest it is not that good can be considered as decent According to me you should opt for hostel in first year then after go for flat which is better option

UIET Kanpur: A Look Inside the Campus and Experience

Faculty to student ratio is 60.Mostly faculties are very chill and friendly but some are very strict.You can easily meet faculties after class for doubt clearing. You will be having 2 quizzes, midsem,practicals and endsem in 1 semester.Exams are more towrads the easier side and if you have studied hard then u can easily get good cgpa. Failing of students depend upon teacher.If teachers are strict then amount of students who fail is increased. I think that curriculum should be reconsidered and should have some ammendments in it.As in my first year we are studying lot more unrelated subjects to our course

We are having our annual fest vividhotsav this year.Also for technical we had robo rumble. You can easily access books from library by your id provided by college.Library is pretty good and you can have access for many books. There are smart boards in classroom which is pretty good. You can play different kind of sports here and there are many competitions held in college such as inter departmental , inter hostel etc. There are many clubs and you can join them as per your interest.

In the computer science course here till now i had studied were relevant according to me. i think that i would be helped by all the subjects in future in some way but as my domain is CS i think that we will focus more on the programming subjects which would help us to gain knowledge about the coding open source,such as i had studies HTML,CSS,C,and they had taught us a little about javascript too, and now we are learning Data structures in C language. Our Institute is as an Autonomous institute that is now we can manage our subjects and exam patters according to us and no to depend on any university. In the first month of the semester they conduct 2 CAs which is CA 1 and CA 2 which are class tests.and in the second month their is MSE-1 after the in the third month their is MSE-2 and in the fourth month last their are the end semester exams and yes till now i am in the second semester our first semester finished in 4 months. Talking about the difficulty level of the exams it is moderate.

the annual fest in Epoque and their are a lot more fests which include RANN,IWOC,Innotech ,etc. Their are alot of books available here in the library with a variety of authors which include the programming books ,etc. Int the classrooms their is a smart borad a and every desk have electric plugs to charge phones and laptops. A lot variety of sports and extracurricular activities are provided here various other teams from other colleges come here and compete. Yes! almost every club and societies are run by the srtudents of the fourth year one can join and explore various fields.

TRUTH ABOUT MY COLLEGE

Faculty members are good some are extremely well qualified and have great passion for teaching whereas there are some who are too rude and still think that it is school or something stopping you for type of clothes and other stuff but most of them are nice and well qualified

Should you take KIET or not?

As we are autonomous now course curriculum is perfectly industry ready and I think we have got some difficult syllabus but due to autonomous we don't get back and they pass us. We have total 3 exams mse 1 mse 2 ese.

My overall campus life is very good. We have less events going on at campus but still due to the club in the college I feel college life is so good. We also go to outside college with club to participate in events.

Faculty of this collage is very nice as they provide good coordination between student and teacher and they also help us in projects building and they clear our doughts whenever go to them . But all are not good it very person to person ,like our dsa professor is good but not our physics mam.
