Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is one faculty for 30 students[1:30] which is appropiate. Sneha mam for pharmaceutics is what i appreciated for 1st year, expertise in the subjects, appropiate communication with students, precise doubt solving and time efficient practicals drags the experince to the pinnacle. no particular faculty of dislike. 3 sessionals conducted officially. average of 2 sessionals used for the internal marks [out of 30] considered the rest 70 is in the final exam written paper for theory. for practicals, synopsis, viva, major and minor exam constitute the practical exam elements and aspects of daily performance , submissions etc are considered for 10 marks. 50% is the criteria of passing for both, that is 50/100 marks required respectively for practical and theory both to pass all subjects individually. Course relevant rational and upto the mark. 3-4 fail to clear exams but can manage it due to another official sessional provided as listed above.

Placement Experience

campus placements are decent. renowned companies come every year to offer an average salary of 5-7LPA. Students post their clerkship become generally eligibile in the 6th year of their course. highest package was 7LPA according to sources[may vary] companies like HIMALAYA, and other medical brands tend to come to the college. percentage of students getting placements varies from year to year. my plans after gettting the degree are mostly further educational pursuits with a educational job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Geetanjali institute of pharmacy i pay 1 lakh 5 thousand rupees as fees and there is extra exam fees of rs 100 which is not too much so it is good. College don't give any reservations and there is no campus placement too which is sad. All students have same fees even if they are general or sc st. No scholarship or financial aids are available in our college and even hospital fees is also taken from us.

Faculty

Faculty ratio to students is good. And some faculties are really good with students. Faculties I like are Dr. Jishi joshi , Chandani yadav , bavita gaur and kalpesh gaur. There are 3 sessional exams and 1 main exam which is sometimes very hectic.

There are experienced lecturers present in college. And they teach really good. They clear our doubts. No partiality is done. The course does have scope as the pharma industry is an emerging sector. You won't remain jobless unless you work hard. Pharm d is an yearly course so the final exams are only once a year. There are 3 internal exams conducted

Course Curriculum Overview

The college shoul allot the students for ward rounds but they have not allotted yet. Ward rounds are a crucial part of the curriculum. There are some lecturers who don't take classes or either they just make a ppt and read it out. Who is going to explain the concepts dude.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 35000 because i have registration under obc category. I was paying it as I was eligible for fee reimbursement and government is giving me that money to pay my fees . Actually , for other students who are not eligible for reimbursement they have to pay 100000 fee per year . Some of them are paying by taking loan as educational fee from government.

Faculty

I don't like many of my faculty members as they don't have proper knowledge and they will simply teach us by showing PowerPoint that too copying from google . I like pavani mam , as she is very approachable to students. We have 4 internals and they are very worst.

Undoubtedly the staff are less in number but they are all well educated and brilliant. they provide us knowledge not only academically but also in every other aspect. they encourage us to participate in various programmes conducted by other colleges. I like Mr. BVB Balaji so much . the way he teaches and inspires everybody left a mark in me. i usually not liked my pharmacology teached mrs.anupama. she is very strict with everybody which made me not to got to her. usually the exams are year end pattern which means only after the year completion we get to write the final exams but in between there will be two sessional exams conducted in the college. the final question papers will be from the university and go to university for correction. but the sessional papers are from the college itself. the final exams are for 70 marks and the sessional exams are for 30 marks each. altogether from the two sessionals average will be taken and added to the external 70 score which comes for 100 marks.

Fees and Financial Aid

hi. i paid 60000 college fee per year and around 10000 hospital fee per year and 40000 hostel fee. added everything i used to pay around 120000 total fee. i think the college fee got reduced later along with some benefits from the governament. i didnt get any benefits from govt bdw. my batchmates who got benefits from the government used to pay only half of my fee as i couldnt get any. laboratory fee are very less like 100 rupees per lab per year. mostly laboratory, library fee is very less. the scholarships are generally given by the university for the university topper not the college topper. i got two times scholarship from tje university 25000 per one year. over all the course is blooming and the is college is top notch with respect the fee and eductaion.

Faculty

The course for pharm D is a specialized course offering a batch of 30 students in a class. 1 teacher per subject , sometimes 2 as the course advances. The faculty teaches very well and have a vast knowlege in the field of pharmacy but they are not at all supportive and considerate about students. The examination department head (DR. Deepali bhansode ) is a very good teacher and a very supporting staff i personally ;liked her a lot she is understanding and supportive towards students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students have to pay the fees once at a time . The students can apply for student loan through a native bank of your region , all type of payments are recieved in the institutions. if you clear the cet exam you have to pay approx 1.8l to 2l for the first year and the fees structre will increase by 5% every year. many scholarships are available for the students and some students gets admission through management qota.
