Modern College of Pharmacy was established in 1998 by Progressive Education Society at Nigdi, Pune. It is located in close proximity of the Industrial belt of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The college is approved by Government of Maharashtra, AICTE, PCI, and UGC and permanently affiliated to University of Pune. Under the supervision of Principal Dr. P.D. Chaudhari, the institute is running undergraduate course in Pharmacy(B. Pharm) and four post graduate courses in Pharmacy i.e. M. Pharm.

Modern College of Pharmacy, Nigdi offers 4 years of B.Pharma course. Candidate must have passed Higher secondary with science and english. Admissions are done through MH-CET and candidates have to apply offline for the same.

There is no relaxation given to OBC students in terms of semester fees. Thus the 1st year fee for B.Pharm at Modern college of Pharmacy Pune is same as that of open category i.e. INR 1.15 lakhs.
