Modern College of Pharmacy Nigdi Pune Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Modern College of Pharmacy offers 4 years undergraduate course in B.Pharm for the students who have passed HSE with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics with at least 50% of aggregate marks. Annual intake for B.Pharma course is 60 students. Admissions to this course are through MH-CET.

• Backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra are entitled to the relaxation of 5% in the qualifying examinations.
• Candidates must have obtained the Non- Zero score in MHCET.
• Those having Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks are also eligible for 4 years B.Pharm from Modern College of Pharmacy.
• For direct admission in the second year, B.Pharm (lateral entry) candidates must have passed post-SSC or post-HSC diploma course in pharmacy.
• Minimum 50% of marks (for general category candidate) and 45% of marks (for reserved category candidate) are required in Diploma in Pharmacy.
• The medium of instruction at Diploma level must be English.

Modern College of Pharmacy offers Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance Techniques (QAT). Students who have passed Bachelors or equivalent in pharmacy from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% of marks in it are eligible to apply. Admissions to these courses are through MH-CET.

For the sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any government department or government autonomous organization in the relevant field in which the admission is being sought is necessary.

• SC/ST category candidates belonging to Maharashtra should have 45% marks in Bachelor degree or equivalent in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved institution.
• Non zero scores should have been secured by the candidate in MHCET conducted by DTE (M.S.).
• Confirmation of the admission will be on the basis of verification of original documents and deposition of the first-semester course fee.

College offers research program in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology. Students should have passed the postgraduate examination with at least 50% of marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). Admissions to these courses are through PET.

• Reserved category candidates of Maharastra state having 45% marks in post graduation are also eligible.
• Candidates fulfilling following conditions are exempted from taking the PET:

1. Those who have qualified GATE/GPAT/SETA/SRF/JRF.
2. Those who have qualified examination of apex bodies such as ICRA/DBT/CSIR-UGC/ICMR and DST.
3. Candidates having M.Phil degree completed from any statutory recognized university.
4. If an applicant has already qualified Paper-1 of PhD Entrance Test conducted by the University of Pune.
