OKAY LET ME START WITH YEAR WISE FEE THAT I HAVE PAID 1 YEAR - KCET FEE 46000+ 18000 BULIDING FEE+ APPROX 3000 OTHER MISC FEE INCULDING EXAM FEE PER SEM HOSTEL RS 80000 2 ND YEAR ONWARDS IT WAS 460000 PER YEAR. THOSE WHO CAMED THROUGH OTHER EXAMS THEY PAID PER YEAR FEE WAS 1,40,000 + EXTRA FEE LAB FEE WAS 3000 . SCHOLARSHIP AVAILED WAS ONLY MERIT CUM NEED THAT I GOT 40000 TO 50000 PER YEAR. THIS WAS THE FEE STUCTURE FOR BATCH 2012-2016 BATCH- AS OF TODAY I DNOT KNOW

Pes is pretty strict in terms of exams and assignment.

Fees and Financial Aid:

There are 3 modes of admission in collage kcet, pessaat, management. I got in through pessat the fees is 4.8L peryear and 19.2 L for the whole course. Through kcet it's around 1L per year. Through management it is 12L a year. For pessat and management there is no additional fees but for kcet kids there will be exam fees etc... there are 3 scholarship one is if a student gets more than 7.5 sgpa then they get 2k rs and one is mrd if you are too 25 percent of batch you get 40 percent of the fees and cnr is top 5 percent you get 50 percent of the fees.

The real truth about PES

Likes

The lab facilites and the constant upgrade in the syllabus to be upto date with the current market trend is one of the best part of the college. The faculties are determined to teach and they are very encouraging and well prepared before each class.

Dislikes

The curicullum is strict and there is a strict attendance policy. There are lot of assignments and exams almost every month and the exams are pretty tough compared to other universities and in one way better for the growth of the student.

Fees and Financial Aid:

In our college , there are 4 modes of entrances. Through KCET, PESSAT, JEE MAINS and MANAGEMENT. From 2025 onwards JEE mains and KCET will be the only means of entrance. People who come through KCET pays fees of 1.16 lakh inr and optional fee of 10,000 inr. People through PESSAT and JEE mains pay 4.5 lakh per annum in my batch , and its increased 30,000 for the upcoming batch of 2025. The division of fees isn't there and all the fees is taken together. For Management the fees was 11 lakh per annum for cse and aiml and 8 lakh for ece. This year the fees is increased by 2 lakhs. There is no category based fee and there is no divisions based on category in our college. There are 3 types of merit based scolarship in our college. Top 5% of students get MRD scholarship which is 50% refund of total fees,top 20% people - Cnr scolarship 40% refund and at the last distinction people above 7.75 cgpa gets 2000 ruppees as scholarship amount.

Fees and Financial Aid:

If you are joining through pessat you then you need to pay 330000 per year but if you are joining through kcet then it would be 150000 per year. There are total of 2 scholarships MRD and CNR if you wabt mrd then you need to be in top 5% for CNR you need to be in top 10%. You can get half of your fees through these scholarships.

I joined in 2022 where tution fee is 410000 The next batch tution fee is 450000 Scholarships are given for every sem for top students .the top 15% students gets mrd scholarship and the next set get cnr scholarship and everyone who gets above 7.75 will get 2000 inr.

Placements are fine but college life is bad.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I joined through KCET so fees actually depends of the government. As per lab fees and other compulsory fees it's 10000 rs. Per year. College also provides scholarship but for KCET students they need to pay extra 10000 rs. inorder to be eligible for the scholarship. There are two scholarships available to students CNR and MRD, which provides 40% and 50% fee waiver.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure varies with the subject you have chosen, such as CSE has a fee of 4.5L and ECE has 4.0L per annum. Scholorships are available for lower classes. There is a way to go through management quota. Another way of entering this college is by giving KCET which is a government entrance exam and due to that the fees for reduces significantly. Different scholorships are are provided based on merit upto half the fees. MRD scholorship gives half the fees back whereas CNR scholorship pays you back close to 80K per semester if you meet the required SGPA criteria.
